Up for auction is my 1968 Dodge Charger R/T CLONE. This car is completely restored form ground up and looks fantastic. Everything on this car, including nuts and bolts, is either new or rebuilt. No expense spared on this restoration. It is originally a 383 automatic A/C car but has been cloned to an R/T with the year correct (68) fresh built 440 block with the built 727 auto trans. Painted back to its original color of Silver with black stripes and vinyl top. Only 540 miles on restoration. Goodies break down... Body: Fresh flawless base coat, clear coat silver paint with black bumble bee stripes, blacked out tail panel, New black vinyl top, all mouldings are new and shiney, all charger and r/t badges are new, rocker mouldings are new, bumpers are flawlessly rechromed, bumper brackets are new with chrysler logos, tail lighs are restored back to new, all clearance lights are new, New Glass Hella 7" headlights with HID bulbs that really light things up at night, New Six-Pack fiberglass hood, Grill is restored back to new condition including new mouldings, sub-frame connectors, This underneath of the car is completely undercoated including the inside of the car.. floor, underdash, behind the seat, trunk., All glass is in great shape with all new weather stripping, seals and window felts, New locks, door handles, mirror, Complete new wiring harness form year one. Interior: The interior of the car is completely brand new, New head liner, black powder coated headliner mouldings, dome light, new rear deck cover, new dash pad, new dash panel kit, all gauges have been restored and work great, working year correct AM radio, new glove box, new tuff wheel, new door panels, arm rest pads and bases, window cranks, new auto console with new shifter nob, rechromed console top plates, new lights in console, new carpet, new legendary seat covers and seat foams, pedals and stainless rings for pedals, new rocker mouldings and kick panels, the heater is not hooked up yet. Underside: New front suspension kit, K-frame, A-arms, torsion bars, lower arms, tie rods, all have been powder coated, front power disc brakes, 8 3/4 sure grip rear end with new Yukon axles and 3:91 gears, new brakes, edelbrock shocks, Under Hood: It is a 1968 440 block balanced, bored and stroked to 514 cubic inches, crankin out roughly 650HP with an eagle stroker kit, lunati hydraulic vodo cam, bull dog aluminum heads, ARP head studs, roller rockers, edelbrock polished aluminum air gap intake, MSD distributor, coil and wires, CSI aluminum dist hold down, braided fuel line with russell fittings, edelbrock mechanical fuel pump, March pulleys and brackets, TTI Headers, TTI 3" Exhaust with Dynomax mufflers,Denso 160 amp alternator, milodon 7 quart oil pan, electric fan, Mopar aluminum valve covers, 850 double pump Demon electric choke carb, toped off with a six pack, K&N air cleaner and mopar wing nut, Aluminum radiator with trans cooler, 727 Automatic trans completely rebuilt with shift kit, Hydro Boost Power steering and brakes set up. The car steering and brakes are like driving a new car. It stops and turns on a dime with little effort. Wheels and tires: The Charger sits on brand new Billet Specialties rims, 17x8 with 235/55R17's up front and 20x10 with 295/40R20's rapped in Falken tires in the rear. New lug nuts with wheel locks. Everything on this car works and works great! I have entered this car in two local shows, and have a first place and a second place trophy.
