1973 Super Beetle, Texas car its whole life very little corrosion mainly surface rust on the left rear fender. Four wheel drum brakes, factory air, manual transmission, factory mag wheels, orange with black interior. My neighbor disassembled the car down with intentions of restoring but now has other plans. Floor pans have been removed and frame is ready to have a new set welding in. Car is complete with 1300CC engine manual transmission, factory air. Engine needs to be rebuilt, manual transmission needs new output seal and clutch, and air conditioner needs a new compressor. The only parts missing currently are the front seats, AC compressor. We also found a second dash board with no cracks in it. I have taken lots of pictures and can take more pictures of anything else someone would like to see. I’m also listing a bunch of new parts that he purchased and can be bid on separately. Any questions don’t hesitate to ask. On Dec-30-10 at 11:04:22 PST, seller added the following information: I don't know volkswagons very well, but I was told this morning by the owner that the engine is a dual port 1600, verified by The Bug Stop here in DFW. I have included pictures of the engine, and data plate so you can verify. The engine does free turn by hand, so there should be no reason it cannot be rebuilt. I have also included pictures of the transmission and wheels, and dash with gauge cluster. The true milage is 32010 his Aunt is the original owner, from what I understand she just didn't drive it that much.
