1967 CHEVELLE SS 396 ?? Previous Owner told me that this is a Original SS 396 car...but I see other cars have 138 in the VIN discription. This car has the 138 on Trim Tag but Im not sure if this was an option or for real. Previous owner has owned car since 1977 so if anything was changed in car...this would have had to be done before 1977. This Chevelle is being sold as a Roller. It comes with a 12 bolt posi rear with 373 gears. It has a Muncey M21 Trans...Ralleys. Front inner fenders are off, but I do have. The rest of any extra's are in the pics. There is a little rust in the trunk..bottom rear passenger side as you will see in pics. The rest of the car is basicly surface rust. The floors and frame seem to be good, just some surface rust. No big holes except the rear passenger quarter panel. The windshield has a crack in it, but all other glass is good. I started to disassemble car so most of the car is just put together with a couple of bolts to take pics. My intentions were to do a frame off restoration. Car hasnt seen the road since 1991, so will need full restoration. I have described this car to the best of my ability.
