Vehicle Detail
This 1999 Expedition Eddie Bauer was traded at our Dealership in Hendersonville NC and does not fit the condition standards for sale on the lot However it would be good transportation for the right person. Please review the description provided and call David at 828-693-1650 or Toll Free at 877-693-1650 if you have any questions, BEFORE YOU BID !!! So now the condition THE GOOD: 1. It Runs, fairly good too. 2. A/C is Ice Cold. 3. Transmission Shifts kinda smooth. THE BAD: 1. Odometer Works but the LED's are intermittent you never know when it will show. You can play guess the mileage on a long trip, gamble with your friends bet who can guess what the odometer will read when it lights up. 2. The radio works but the display lights are out, just guess your station. Alternatively you can entertain your passengers just leave the radio on scan which will stop on random stations. 3. C/D Changer is jammed, Listen to the radio. 4. The previous customer told us that it may need ball joints, we ain't messing with it just read on... THE FUGLY: 1. Rust, Rust and More Rust; the entire undercarriage is covered in Rust. The rocker panels look like Swiss cheese with extra holes. 2. If you want to show off your Super Hero Strength to your child just grab a hunk of rocker panel and rip it off, we left you some it's fun. FYI this will not impress your women, yes they do know what rust is. 3. Those ball joints mentioned above, yeah you go ahead and replace them tough guy. Enjoy those busted and bleeding knuckles as you round off what's left of those rusted bolts. This job will require buckets of WD-40, loads of bandages, a torch, big ass hammers and a location away from young children and women, you'll be cussing me at ear piercing volume. I'll bet you'll come up with words even you didn't know existed. Alternatively do you have a new young mechanic in the house or the neighborhood. You know the teenager that knows everything about everything and won't stop telling you how much he knows. Buy this Expedition and tell him you will give it to him once he has made all the necessary repairs, you won't see or hear from him for months. By the time he is finished with just the ball joints, if it's even possible, he won't even want it. From the rocker panels up this thing really doesn't look that bad, paint shines no major dents or dings also there are no body panels with rust through excluding the rocker panels as stated above. Tires are usable but down to about 4/32's of tread maybe 20% left on them. We have done our best to describe this vehicle so again any questions please call David at 828-693-1650 or Toll Free 877-693-1650. Happy bidding, David G.
