1978 Porsche 930 Turbo, delivered by Niello Porsche in Reno, Nevada, this is a one owner, 49008 miles, fully documented including original dealer invoice in 1978 date stamped envelope, every receipt from new for service and conversion, brochure from slant nose manufacturer, this car is in fantastic condition throughout, the interior smells like new, the leather is supple and perfect. Body Converted to slant nose using a full steel conversion, all panels fit perfectly and appear as Porsche intended with excellent gaps, its a professional conversion done to a very high standard, headlights have both main and full beam, the front spoiler is a 930S unit with a front mounted oil cooler. In the rear quarters are the vented intakes, the rear reflector is a late 80's type and the tun signals are euro spec. The body is perfect, no rust, no accidents and panel fit is outstanding. Interior The interior is absolutely pristine, the leather is supple and mint as are the carpets (they have 930S floor mats and are virtually brand new) the headliner is perfect, the leather on the top of the dashboard is lifting slightly at the extreme edge and around the AC vent as is normal with California cars. The center console is custom made and trimmed in the same leather as the rest of the interior, a VDO boost gauge is fitted in the dashboard, the steering wheel is a color coded 930S type. There is a state of the art 1995 Sony system with big amplifier Motor Motor was rebuilt at 40,000 miles and enlarged from 3.3 to 3.5 liters using new pistons and barrels and fitted with an enlarged K27 Turbocharger, an Andial enlarged Intercooler, variable boost in the cabin, hydraulic timing chain tensioners, additional oil cooler in front spoiler, 4 outlet stainless steel exhaust system, all US smog equipment removed, 5 speed transmission conversion. Wheels Ruf 17" wheels are fitted and are polished with no curbing or damage AC The AC system has been upgraded with a rotary Nippon Denso compressor As you can imagine with such low mileage the motor starts easily and shows excellent oil pressure, no noises from the engine at all, when the motor was enlarged to 3.5 liters all updates were carried out including hydraulic timing chain tensioners and a K27 Turbo, there are absolutely no oil leaks whatsoever, the underside is dry and lovely, the gears shift easily with no baulking or grinding either up or down. The mileage of 49,008 is warranted correct.
