Vehicle Detail
17 year old motorcycle with less than 4600 total miles! A collector would call it a “survivor”, meaning it is unrestored but in very good condition, primarily because of the low mileage. The bike starts easy, runs great and would be a great candidate for a restoration if you wanted to go that route. It only has a few minor cosmetic issues and is a great driver as it sits. Despite the bikes age you can still purchase parts new from Honda. I have a problem with my forearms and wrists that cause me pain if I ride it for more than a few minutes, so I have decided to sell it. I have clear title in hand and in the last few days it has had a new air cleaner and oil and filter change. Not interested in trades, cash or PayPal only. I will not ship this bike, must be picked up at my location. If using PayPal your payment will have to clear before you take possession. I can be reached by cell phone at my google voice number (430) 558-0022. Chances are you will have to leave a message but I will call you back as soon as I can. I will be happy to show you the bike or provide additional pictures as needed. If you can show proof that you have a valid Texas Drivers License with a motorcycle endorsement and insurance, I will let you ride it. Here is a video of the bike running: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8PwlwD-yXdU I couldn't figure out how to update my reply to the question below about registration in California, so I am posting it here in case others might be interested. The Vin tag does not say anything about California on (or near) it. It basically only tells that it was manufactured in Japan and that it meets all safety requirements when manufactured. I did do some research though and it seems like the "California" bikes do have some emission equipment on them that includes some type of vent tube connected to the fuel tank that does something related to fumes. This bike does not have this hose or any place on the tank to connect it. So my uneducated opinion is that this bike is not a "California" bike. But I have no idea if that would keep it from being registered in California. As the listing says the bike is in Longview Texas. Longview is located in N. E. Texas about 120 miles east of Dallas on Interstate 20.
