+++ NO RESERVE: HIGH BIDDER WINS +++ Wow! Looking at the pictures, you can tell that the previous owner of this 4-Wheel Drive custom Jeep has spent a ton of money. This is a 1978 Jeep CJ-5. We took this Jeep in on trade at our dealership. We put a little money in it ourselves, including a brand new clutch, new plugs and much more. It looks "mean," and sounds even meaner than it looks. The previous owner told us that the rims and tires alone were more than $2,500. The tires are "Brand New" with practically zero miles. He told us that the custom paint job was $5,000. This has a small block FORD (302 or 351) with Dual Quad Carb and much more. It seems to run a little rich. The Jeep is a 4-Speed. The synchronizer seems to make a little noise going into reverse. More great news ... The black Jeep "soft top" is BRAND NEW, including brand new doors. All in all, way to much to list ... Before you bid, please realize this is NOT a Show Winner, but the right person could make it into one! A lot of the hard work is done, and the most expensive parts have been purchased. If you think you are coming to look at a "perfect" CJ-5, please don't bid! We are not mechanics. We took this Jeep in as a "trade-in" so we don't know much about it. We have not driven it far, and we don't intend to ... We just want to sell it "wholesale," because we don't sell older vehicles on our "retail lot." Yes, this Jeep can be driven on the road, but I really wouldn't drive it far.
