Vehicle Detail
2002 Lexus SC 430 Convertible. Fabulous color combination of white with tan exterior. NO RESERVE Auction. I purchased this car last January from a wonderful attorney in Los Angeles. He purchased the car as a Certified Used Lexus in March of 2005 with 44,000 miles on it. I have a great deal of records of service that was performed by Vista Lexus in California. His wife drove the car until I purchase it. At the time I purchased the Lexus it had approximately 87,000 mile on it. His wife drove the car and it was pampered. They paid $45k for the car. I have the documentation. The car has only been driven in California and Texas. I drove it back from California when purchased and it ran fabulously as it always does. Only selling because my wife is furious that I don't have a 4 door car. The Good: The vehicle drives perfectly. It has no squeaks, rattles, leaks, warning lights, etc. The vehicle drives and operates as if it had 10,000 miles on it. It is perfect mechanically. As the pictures indicate the leather is in great condition structurally. This car could be perfect with a tiny amount of cosmetic reconditioning. Total head turner, it is amazing the comments I get on this car. I think it is the color combination. The Bad: Here is everything I can think of that would make this car appear like showroom. The plate on the front of the radio shows some wear/fading. I think the easiest fix would be to just pull the plate and clean it or replace, but it did not bother me, therefore I never worried about it. The leather looks great for the age of the car when cleaned (which it is now and will be when you receive the car) but I am told the leather on a 9 year old car should really be dyed to make it look 100% new. The seat belts are darker than they should be ( I have not had them steam cleaned), should probably be dyed to look as new. Tan leather has to be really clean to look great. Body has the typical rock chips and scratches but you can see from the photos that it really is beautiful. I have this car for sale locally and it may sell since you really need to see it to fully appreciate the car. I reserve the right to cancel this auction if that happens. This is a great car that is in fabulous condition for a 2002 with 108k miles on it. Miles may go up as I drive it everyday. Please email or call jeff at 903-520-7062 if you have questions. Thanks for looking at my auction.
