L48...350ci, 165 hp engine. STILL RUNS GREAT ..born May 17th 1975....Has been Garaged all it's life...(until recently)... 78,000 miles... new Goodyear Eagle Tyres used approx 50miles... (bought tyres years ago, approx 1992, at $250 per tyre...put approx 50miles on them... Car has not been used since....Missing one "Stingray" emblem on one side. T -tops needs a paint job also. Regularly started to keep fresh. Car still runs great ...Old hoop-la design large front fenders (breast) matching raise at Tyre hub (Hips)...Solid strong engine...I am second owner I have owned since 1980 and put 7,000 miles on it since I bought it.... Has been garaged all of it's life until September of this year...I moved (no garage anymore) and moving again...so...time to let this go... new paint job this car, fix odds&ends, redo interior, will look sweet!!!!.. Its original color was Orange Flame 3,030 were made of the 33,836 Total Produced in 1975...previous owner painted if off white... What it needs: A paint job Car Needs a Paint Job...everything is still original inside and out.... ..EXCEPT the Radio..I changed Radio many years ago, radio that is in there is faulty?...and doesn't work. recently took old "alarm system wires off ignition"...Radio Antonia needs replaced ...has Dual ex hast. Interior is good to fair all original and defiantly needs freshened up or totally redone. However, there are no major rips or tears. Just old...... like the Car. When running for a while liquid will hit exhaust and smoke due to liquid coming from high pressure hose which has a slight bend(kink) in it hence the issue...needs replaced to stop the problem.... it has been doing this for years...it is one of the 2 hoses... the high pressure one......the other was replaced some years ago...Missing one "Stingray" emblem on one side. T -tops needs a paint job also Going for quick sale...No Reserve. Winning Bid takes the Car. I am moving and I cannot take with me...nor plan on finishing detailed work on the Car... A few 1975 Corvette Facts... The 1975 Corvette was for a time the "last"but convertible production resumed in 1986 . The last 1975 convertible was built in late July 1975 . Catalytic converters first appeared in corvettes with the 1975 model. Duel exhausts were routed to a single converter , then split for duel exit. HEI (High energy Ignition appeared first on Corvettes on 1975 models quite different from the transistor ignitions previously available , HEI included Corvettes first no-points distribute . this also ended Corvettes distributor -driven tachometers. Starting in 1975 , tachs were electronically driven. During the period from 1963 until 1975 when Corvettes were available in both Coupe and Convertible body styles, convertibles had always cost less than coupes.
