I am selling my 1989 Lincoln Town Car. It has a red exterior with a red cloth interior. Both are in good shape. Engine starts up everytime and runs well. It has it quirks as it is a 21 year old car, but nothing too bad. The heat currently isn't working, and the power windows stick, need a helping hand to go up and down. The car squeaks when cold, but once it warms up it's fine. This only happens in the winter. When going up a hill, if the trans is in a high gear the car shakes a little, just need to give it gas to kick into a lower gear and it's ok. Through all the gears the transmission shifts great.The car has power seats, windows, mirrors. The vinyl top is cracked and worn. Depending on your state, you can also register this with Historic tags as I have since the vehicle is over 20 years old. By doing this no inspection or emission tests are needed and the dmv fees are substantially less than when registering a normal vehicle. Car has 185k miles. May be a few more by end of auction since I'm driving it daily. Car is also for sale locally, so may end the auction early if sold. Not sure why autochek says issue with title. With regards to odometer issue, it is listed on title as tmu (true miles unkown) as the odometer roles over after 100,000 miles. It is listed as 3 owner but I am really the 2nd, since one of the owners was just the dealer who sold it to me.
