As the Manager, this is my first vehicle being sold under the company name of Honest Abe Autos. TERMS AND CONDITIONS Seller: This vehicle is being sold through the Dealership of Honest Abe Autos, 2856-1 Sadler Road, Fernandina Beach, FL 32034. You are welcome to test drive or inspect the vehicle before winning the auction. However, if our location is beyond your driving range we will gladly answer your questions by e-mailing us directly through this auction. Our hours are by appointment only please. Title: We have this Chevrolet Blazer K5 Title free and clear of any liens in our possession and ready for transfer to the winning bidder upon full payment. Buyer Inspections: The above description of the vehicle reflects our opinion of the vehicle based on its age and mileage and your opinion may be different so we welcome and recommend a buyer's inspection on this vehicle up to twenty-four hours before the end of the auction only and Buyer is responsible for any inspection charges and fees. Please do not rely on our description of the vehicle to equal yours. A personal inspection may be better than relying on our pictures to see the vehicle as we cannot photograph the car in it's entirety. E-mail us through this web site for an appointment to do the inspection up to 24 hours hours before the auction ends and we will gladly accommodate you or a representative on your behalf. Condition Report: If it is inconvenient for you to inspect the vehicle in person then we will be happy to accommodate your ordering an inspection through the eBay inspection services provider. While there are some imperfections consistent with it's age it is a nice 4WD SUV overall. Any inspection should be completed prior to 24 hours remaining in the auction please and we will gladly meet the technician the appointment. No Warranty: This vehicle is being sold in "as-is" condition, without any guarantee or warranty whether expressed or implied. HOW AND WHEN TO PAY & PICKUP (PLEASE READ CAREFULLY) Initial Contact: Successful high bidder should contact us within 6 hours after the auction has ended to make arrangements to complete the transaction and to pick up the car. Deposit: A $500 non-refundable deposit shall be wired to the Seller or delivered as Cash in Person no later than 5:00 PM, Monday, 12/20/2010 please. After your Initial Contact (see above), we will e-mail you the wiring instructions to our Bank which is First Federal Savings Bank of Amelia Island, Florida 32034. PayPal or a credit card or a cashier's check or a personal check or a money order may not be used to pay the deposit due. If a deposit is not received by 5:00 PM, Monday, 12/20/2010, the deposit will be forfeited and the vehicle will be made available to other potential buyers, both locally and to eBay bidders, on a first come, first serve basis. Balance Due: Transactions should be completed within 3 days of auction close. For the balance due, Seller only accepts bank wire transactions and cash in person. PayPal or a credit card or a cashier's check or a personal check or a money order may not be used to pay the balance due. Time of Pickup: Vehicle should be picked up by the buyer within 3 calendar days from the end of the auction. After 3 days, a $75 per day storage fee applies. Please schedule an appointment with us to pick up the car. No Shipping: This auction is for local pick-up only so there is "no shipping" and/or "no transporting." Seller will not meet a shipper nor a transport nor be involved in any shipping arrangements or details. This transaction is for local pickup by the Buyer in person only. Seller will not work with any "Agents" or "Representatives" of the Buyer but only with the Buyer as registered with eBay as a "local pickup only". OTHER For Sale Locally: This vehicle is up for sale locally and we reserve the right to end this auction early if we have a local buyer. We reserve the right to cancel this auction at any time at our discretion. Bid Retractions: No bid retractions are allowed in the last 24 hours before the auction ends. Mileage: The mileage may be up to 200 miles higher than stated in the ad. Winning Bidder and Buyer must be Same Person: The winning Bidder and the Buyer must be the same person and all the papers to transfer ownership of the car will be put only into the name of the winning bidder/buyer and no one else's. If the winning bidder/buyer is buying the car for someone else then he or she will have to re-title the car from their name to the other person's name after this transaction is processed and will assume sole responsibility for gathering all necessary fees, taxes and insurance requirements to do so. TITLE, TAXES, FEES & REGISTRATION Title: We have this Chevrolet Blazer K5 Title free and clear of any liens in our possession and ready for transfer to the winning bidder upon full payment. As a State of Florida Automobile Dealer, we will apply for the permanent Title and Registration on your behalf after the sale. We will also provide you with a temporary Tag and Registration during this process. Required Documents for Out-State Buyers Only: Before you may leave with the car, you will need to provide us with your Current Driver's License and Proof of Insurance. Required Documents for In-State (Florida) Buyers Only: If transferring a valid Florida license plate from another vehicle, a copy of the registration from that Florida vehicle. If you have recently moved to Florida, you must have a valid Florida Drivers License before you can register the car in Florida and must pay Florida sales tax and registration fees and have proof of insurance to complete the transaction. Temporary Transit Tag: We will issue the Buyer a temporary tag at no additional charge which will provide valid registration in all states for 30 days for In-State (Florida) Buyers or Out-of-State Buyers. Sales Tax for Out-of-State (Non-Florida) Buyers - We have gotten several inquiries from out-of-state buyers who would like to know and if we have to collect sales tax. The answer depends upon the state where you reside and the answer is usually "yes, we have to collect sales tax even if you are an out-of-state buyer" but most of the time there is a credit if you are a reciprocal state. For example, if you are a Georgia resident, then we are required to collect 4% sales tax so you get a 2% tax credit but you are required to register the car within 45 days in Georgia or you will have to pay the entire 6% sales tax. Out of state buyers are responsible for all state, county, city taxes and fees, as well as title service fees in the state that the vehicle will be registered. Sales Tax for In-State (Florida) Buyers - We collect 6% Florida sales tax plus a surcharge amount for the County where you reside. For example, Nassau County has a surcharge of 1% so we will collect 7% of the sales amount. There are surcharge limitations based on the final selling price but a good estimate is 7%. License Plate, Registration and Title Fees for In-State (Florida) Buyers - If you do not have a valid license plate to transfer, then there is an Initial Registration Fee (INR) of $225.00 which we must collect. This INR is waived if you do have a valid plate to transfer. License Plate, Registration and Title Fees for Out-of-State Buyers - If you live in a state other than Florida, then we do not collect any license plate, registration or title fees and you will be responsible for paying such fees yourself in your state. Dealer Fee: There will be a Dealer fee of $295 added to the final sale price of this transaction which covers document preparation, listing and vehicle prep fees. Other Fees: Buyer is responsible for any fees charged by their bank to wire funds. Estimate of Fees - If you would like for us to estimate your total fees based on whether or not you have a valid plate to transfer and based on whether you are Out-of-State Resident or a Resident of the State of Florida including your County surtax amount, please e-mail us at least 24 hours before the Auction has ended and we will be happy to assist you. Legal: Your winning bid constitutes a legally binding contract to intend to own this vehicle. Being the highest bidder at the end of the auction means that you have purchased the car (not to come look at the car). Both parties are to leave feedback for each other after the car is paid for and before the car is to leave the premises. This is an Auction and after winning the Auction has ended you are to pay for the Vehicle and to pick up the vehicle according to the time frames as stated in these Terms and Conditions. On Dec-18-10 at 20:01:39 PST, seller added the following information: It should be noted that this 350 motor has many upgraded features including an Eldebrock Power Package which includes an Eldebrock Four-Barrel Carburetor, Eldebrock Intake Manifold, Eldebrock Cam Shaft, Eldebrock chrome air filter cover and Eldebrock chrome valve covers. There is also a true dual exhaust system with chrome-tipped exhaust pipes as well as an upgraded HEI Ignition System. This upgraded motor should have considerably less miles than the vehicle shows of 91,500 since the 350 motor replaced the stock 305 motor that came in the vehicle. Also new includes most all of the AC components including Compressor, Accumulator/Dryer and Condenser plus other small parts for the R134A Freon System.
