Vehicle Detail
2006 GSXR 600 custom white/blue ---------------------------------------------------------ABOUT THE BIKE--------------------------------------------------------- Bike has never been laid down, always been maintained properly, never seen less than two wheels on the ground , and never raced. Been taken extremely good care of. Basics: -9217 miles -Akrapovic shorty exhaust carbon fiber- I have never seen anyone else with this pipe around. It looks sick and sounds mean. Best of all this pipe conduct ZERO heat. You can literally put your hand on the pipe after a long ride and feel hardly anything! -BMC race air filter -New pilot power 2CT tires front and rear (Have about 1700 miles on them, the more expensive 2CT tires are good for about 4k miles) Full tune up recently done at 7500 miles including; -oil change -new aftermarket BMC air filter -new spark plugs -all fluids flushed and changed -brakes all around -new Pilot Power 2CT tires (approx 1000 miles on them) -full inspection This bike was purchased from a friend of mine (so I know the bike's detailed history) @ 5500 miles. When I bought the bike, it had been pushed down by some punk in a parking lot cracking the right side fairing. I was about to order to new fairing already painted to match w/ logo's when I came across a guy selling his entire OEM fairing set for a killer deal. I purchased these fairings and took them to a painter to have painted a custom blue/white combo (the bike was originally black and grey). I then sold my stock OEM plastics to pay for the paintjob (I broke even, so I'm not looking to increase the price of the bike because of the custom paint like a lot of other guys do). ---------------------------------------------------------ABOUT THE PAINT:--------------------------------------------------------- Why I had the bike painted? I had the bike painted because I wanted to be different. When I was looking for the right side fairing to replace the cracked one with, it was going to run me close to $800 for everything. I was just about to hit order when I came across a local listing for a guy that wanted to turn his gixxer into a track bike, so he was selling his ENTIRE fairing set for $500 bucks...I thought there's no way that's real or maybe the fairings are cheap china made ones. I had my painter go with me to check them out. After inspection he said if you don't buy them, I will- they are 100% OEM factory Suzuki fairings. So I bought them. I spent $500 on the new fairings, and $2,000 on the custom paint and assembly and I sold the PERFECT condition fairing (minus the cracked right one) for $2,0000.00 bucks. So all in all, I spent only about $500 for the custom paint job- $300 bucks cheaper than just replacing the one side of fairings....pretty good deal in my opinion. When deciding on a paint scheme, I knew I wanted the classic gixxer blue/white because I loved it so much. However, I hated to use the one chance I was gonna get to paint a bike the way I wanted on a full OEM color scheme. So the painter worked with me and we came up with something different that really turned out sweet. Basically he inverted the OEM color scheme (so everything that was blue on the stock bike was now white on mine and vice versa). To take it a step further beyond that he tweaked the OEM colors a little, adding just the slightest bit of blue pearl to the white, not enough to where you can see it far off..you need to be up close, but enough to give it that "wow factor" (when the sun hits it, it's gorgeous) as well as adding additional pearl to the blue. He also painted the front fender white, which is a BAD ASS look for this bike, trust me. Park this thing next to a stock 06' blue/white gixxer and people love to check them out! They look so good together! --------------QUESTIONS????--------------- Do you have a reserve or buy it now price? No. Whatever the auction ends at is what the bike will sale for. Has the bike ever been involved in any accidents or been dropped? No. The bike has never been in any accidents. The bike was pushed over in a parking lot, which is why I had the damaged fairing replaced. I know a lot of guys that get custom paint jobs because the wrecked their bikes and repaired them, how do I know this isn't what you did? If there was some sure way of proving this, trust me I would. I had the bike painted because I wanted to be different. When I was looking for the right side fairing to replace the cracked one with, it was going to run me close to $800 for everything. Crystal clear KY title Will you trade me for my mom's old 1992 coupe de' ville for your bike? Dude, seriously? No. This is ebay, not tradebay. Will you end the auction early for the right price? Depends. Will you ship the bike? At the buyer's expense. I will also deliver the bike to you up to 500 miles (one way, so 1000 miles roundtrip) for the cost of gas, which will be around .25 cents a mile (you pay roundtrip so .25 cents a mile x 1000 miles roundtrip = $250.00 minimum, could be more depending on factors) Will you take payments? No. A non-refundable $1200 deposit is due as soon as the auction closes, and the rest will be due at delivery or before the bike officially ships out. There are no returns, no "I change my mind," no "I hit some financial trouble and can't purchase anymore." You WILL NOT get your deposit back, and you WILL be reported. Does the bike have ANY flaws at all? The bike was ridden, so of course it does. These are all very minor, and I have provided detailed pictures. The side of the bike with the exhaust, at the top of the side fairing, where the blue fairing goes over the white fairing and meets at the black plastic intake, there is a chip about the size of a pen tip where a rock must have come up and hit the plastic. This is very, very, very small...seriously...about the size of half of an eraser on a pencil. Super small. The plastic is not scratched, or cracking, just a super tiny piece gone. You can see it in the pictures. Also, the exhaust has very minor scuffs on it from a riders boot it looks like, I was going to buff these out, but haven't had the time to. You can have a shop do this for less than 30 bucks. Finally, the gas tank cap has scratches on it from one of those stupid magnetic tank bag. The tank itself does not have these, just the cap. I have provided pictures of all these things mentioned. The bike could also use a new set of handlebar grips. free customisable galleries from AuctionPixie.co.uk
