Up for auction is my favorite ride...a 1989 Toyota land Cruiser FJ62.This car runs great, and is so fun to drive. Interior has many new parts including, seats, dash cover, console, carpet kit, cd stereo system with amp and 5 speakers (sounds great).Ext. BFG tires, Thule rack, FRONT BULL BAR, Aussie mirrors New plugs, fuel filter, O2 Sensors, new water pump, new, radiator, all new belts and hoses, new brakes, battery. Basically, all interior items function as they should (PW, PDL, auto antenna) This truck is ready for adventure. I have receipts for all the above plus 5k in suspension and drive train work, including bearings, u-joints, transfer case ... (All fluids have been changed bumber to bumper. Mechanic noted typical, minor oil build up underneath, could consider down the road checking on, but nothing overt) Everything works as it should on this truck. Minor flaws include: Two small chips on original front windshield; minor 1-inch ding in body and quarter sized ding in rear bumper; one small tear in headliner; crack in plastic window covering gauges on left of console ... all easy fixes. NO RUST to worry about. Minor paint oxidation around gas cap and rear tailgate edges, but not eye-catching. I believe this truck is only at about half-life with all the updates; it has another 20 plus years of performance. A Brand new ARB Bull Bar as well was the last bow on the package. Why sell? I'm simply giving in to the need for better gas milage and smaller foot print on the planet. My enjoyment of this and others I've owned and cared for the past 20 years is full of great memories. The most reliable truck I've ever owned. I gave my last one to my teenage nephew and it has over 300 k on it, runs just like it did with 100 k. I've owned these trucks for more than 20 years and they are well known for getting upwards of 400k on their original engine and transmission. It runs smooth and strong and straight and I would not hesitate to drive it anywhere in all conditions. It's rare to find a classic FJ 62 as nice as this one. If you look at trucks like this at TLC and other retailers, you can easily pay more than 15k and up and my reserve is well under that. Please feel free to call or email with specific questions.
