You are bidding on a 1958 Nash Metropolitan coupe. A previous owner had done extensive restoration on this car before I bought it. I could find very little damage or rust repair that had been needed. The body is in excellent condition with no noticeable rust or dents. The rubber weatherstripping was replaced when the car was repainted. The brakes were redone, and the car runs and drives very well. The interior has also been replaced. The previous owner had stored the car when it was nearly finished. After I bought the car, I bought door handles and bumper guards and had them replated. The bumpers had already been replaced. I also bought five new tires and repainted the wheels before the tires were mounted and balanced. I also removed the gas tank and cleaned, sealed and painted it. Overall, this is a very nice car that should be worth more than the reserve. I wouldn't mind keeping it, but I do have several other cars to maintain and can use more garage space. Feel free to ask questions. I don't keep secrets about condition or reserve, but I also will not end an auction early. You are welcome to inspect the car also. The buyer will need to make a deposit of $300 within 48 hours of the end of the auction. The remaining balance can be paid at pickup by method agreed upon by the buyer and seller.
