1977 Pontiac Grand Prix SJ. All original and loaded with options. Its a Black on Black car with the 400 engine, automatic, T-tops, valour bucket seats, snowflake wheels with brand new tires, power windows, tilt, cruise, A/C, original stereo, original paint with the original painted gold pinstripe. The car runs and drives fine. The engine sounds good with no strange noises or smoke. The transmission shifts perfect. I would trust it to drive anywhere. The odometer reads 10K but I'm sure its 110K. This is a 33 year old unrestored car, so its not perfect. Here's the list. First, the gas peddle needs to be pumped a few times before it starts in the morning and then featherd a little bit before it will idle on its own. After this, its good all day and will start and idle fine. Idles a little high in PARK but idles good in gear. Has an exhaust manifold gasket leak on the drivers side. You can hear it and feel it with your hand. A/C I think needs a charge, blew cold a few years ago and compressor still turns freely. Has only three rust spots that I can see. One behind the passenger side front wheel. and two small spots on the front edge of the hood. The body side molding that goes behind the rear wheels are off on both sides, but the drivers side comes with the car. There is a worn spot on the carpet under the emergency brake peddle where the drivers foot rested. And the drivers seat belt retractor sometimes doesn't reel out the belt. I have it clampped so it won't retract so its easier to use. I can't think of anything else, so ask questions, I might of forgotten something. As you can see in the pictures the car is shiny, its the original paint. The interior is valour and is in nice condition and is not fadded. This is my 83 y/o mom's car and she is the third owner. She is unable to drive it. She bought it from the second owner who lives 30 miles away and the first and original owner lives 40 miles away, and he owned it up untill 2005. Like I said before, I would trust it to drive anywhere and it has new tires. Please ask all your questions before you bid. Buyer needs to contact me within 24 hours.
