1973 Volvo 1800ES This car is in mostly original condition. It maintains the original drive-train with 157,000 miles. Currently the car is not running. I believe it may have spun a bearing, it will require an engine rebuild tobe drivable, The transmission works flawlessly, it is the 4 speed with the electronically activated overdrive.The clutch operates very smoothly and all gears engage nicely.Up until the engine began to make a noise the car was a great driver and fully operational. The interior is all original, and in great shape for its age, it does have some wear as to be expected. It even has the originalfloor mats in the car. The heater works great once the car is warmed up.The air conditioning does not work, there are a few parts that are missing, but it did come with it originally.One interesting feature that this car does have is a factory installed sunroof. This was very rare feature and not too many 1800'shave this option. The sunroof works fine and seals great. All the windows are in nice condition without any cracks or scratches,including the rear-hatch. The rubber seals around the windows are relatively new. The car has been repainted once in its original color. The body does have a few minor dents here and thereand the paint is not perfect, but looks decent.There are some minor rust issues around the rear apron as seen in the pictures, but the floorpansare solid. The wheels are original with the chrome beauty rings. Overall the car is just about 100% complete. The only parts on mind that are missing include the chromepiece on the passenger door, the radio, and a few AC components.With an engine rebuild this could be a great driver, it will need to be transported.Feel free to ask any questions and I will reply as soon as I can.Thanks you for looking at my car and happy bidding!
