THIS IS A 1970 CHEVELLE Malibu that originally came with a 307 engine and turbo 350 transmission with a 10 Bolt non posi rearend. I found this car in storage near my home. It had been in storage for a few years but fired right up. The car is originally from Northern California but does have some rust issues. The location was not entirely weather proof. BODY: The car has a good frame and most of the floor pans are in usable condition. It does have rust in some parts of the floor pan that will necessitate cutting out small sections but not the entire pan. They include under the back seat, back seat foot well (on the driver side) as far as I can tell. There is some rust under the battery tray. The pictures should tell the tale for the exterior panels. It does come with two EXTRA doors that are not rusted through. The front fenders will need to be replaced as well as rear quarter work along with some back window work, trunk lid work (replacement?) and the trunk lip weatherstripping area has rust. To be clear, it DOES need body work. I am being up front. INTERIOR: The interior has an aftermarket radio but does not function. It does come with a front bench seat as well as the back seat. Has a headliner but the pictures tell the picture. The driver side window is missing but the new door comes with the window. The front windshield is damaged. The steering column needs to be replaced but it has an aftermarket set up to start it. It fires right up. TRUNK: THIS TRUNK IS ALL ORIGINAL AND has minor rust in the top corners under the package tray corners. The package tray where the speakers are also needs attention. DRIVE TRAIN:THE MOTOR IS A what I believe to be a 350 SBC. The reason I say this is because the block numbers read 3970010 which after researching online from chevy sites indicate a 350 SBC. This is what I have researched so please do your due diligence before bidding. It has a turbo 350 and dual exhaust with rear tail pipes. It has an edelbrock intake along with a 600 CFM Edelbrock Carburetor. I believe the car needs the alternator to be hooked up to the battery. It has a stock 10 Bolt rearend. The car is a non A/C car. It runs well but will need to be trailered. PAPER WORK: I have a clean California Title in handOverall Condition:Please ask ALL questions prior to bidding. I will answer any and all questions to the best of my ability. Shipping is the sole responsibility of the new owner. I will help as best as I can. Please note that the car DOES NOT COME WITH A BATTERY. I will assist in driving it on to your trailer.My Opinion on this Chevelle: I currently have too many other projects. If I had time I would fix the windshield, fix the steering wheel, give it a tune up, have the brakes and all systems checked and drive it as a rat rod/barn find/resto mod along with some pro-touring tires while I fixed up the body. I have driven the car around my neighborhood and it runs and sounds good for being just out of storage but I have NOT driven it far due to time constraints to see what other adjustments it may need. The frame is also in good condition. For the most part it's the replaceable parts and areas of the floor that need some attention.
