1997 GMC 1500 Suburban SLE 4X4 5.7 liter VORTEC V-8 4 speed auto. with overdrive. No disappointments here and is extremely clean inside and out. Recently replaced all new oxygen sensors to fix check engine light. Brand new AC Delco $69.00 original equipment spark plugs. Also a brand new $90.00 K&N air filter and brand new battery. This vehicle is fully loaded with every power option. It is the highest end GMC model of the Suburbans made. Power windows, power locks, power mirrors, AM/FM cassette and single disc CD. Which has a extremely unbelievable sounding factory stereo. Tilt wheel, factory running boards, towing package, factory external transmission cooler, alloy wheels, cruise control, key-less entry, dual power bucket seats, rear climate control, 3rd row seat with easy access entry, rear window defrost, rear barn doors, good spare tire and all jack and emergency equipment, and push button 4 wheel drive which works flawlessly. This vehicle is definitely in the best shape of any 97 Suburban on E-Bay. Drives like brand new with no noises what so ever. Ice cold air and hot heat. This vehicle has recently had brand new tires all the way round and had the front end alignment checked. It took nothing. The old tires weren't bad but, I wanted a little more aggressive tire for winter. The truck recently formed a small leak in the radiator and was replaced with a brand new one. It also has new front brake shoes and rotors. The oil was changed every 3000 miles and the vehicle was garage kept. This vehicle has been in the family. ( bought my grandfather then I bought it from him.) So it has never been abused. I am selling due to an unexpected down payment that I need for a property that came up for sale. Other than that I would never sell it. I get 550 and more mpg to a tank of gas depending on where your driving (highway or not ).
