For sale is a 1997 Nissan Maxima GLE. The car has 173k miles, 3.0L v6, automatic transmission. Car runs and drives, shifts good (hard shift from 1st to 2nd, was told this is typical of this gen Maxima) just needs some things to pass PA inspection. I don't have the time or money to invest in it anymore, need to buy a 4x4 for winter. I Put new exhaust pipe and muffler ($250), new mass air flow sensor ($300), new knock sensor ($100), new rotors and brakes ($150), new tranny filter and fluid ($50), oil change. Interior is in ok condition, some breaks and cracks in leather. Options: Power steering, power windows, power side mirrors, power seats, power roof, cruise control, BOSE stereo system, heat/AC works good (just charged), rear spoiler, fog lights, good tires (80% tread left). It needs: fix chips in windshiled or replace, one headlight is out, check engine light is on (needs a couple more sensors, not really sure, im not a mechanic), leaks oil a little, some scratches and dents in body but nothing horrible. Have clean title, must sell! NO RESERVE if fixed properly car is worth around $3000. This would be a great fixer upper or used for parts.
