Vehicle Detail
This 1995 BMW m3 is the perfect enthusiast's car. This is a rare find, unmodified and refreshingly factory in appearance and performance. This m3 is Cosmos Black with a black leather interior. Suggested retail in 1995 was $40,695. Currently there are about 189,500 miles on this vehicle. The pictures tell the story very well. The paint is as perfect as a 1995 model can be. The vader seats that are usually worn are easily 9 out of a perfect 10. I even have service records dating back until January 1998! Most recently was a synthetic oil change on 10/1/10. The tires were replaced on 5/14/10 with a set of Sumitomo HTRZ II. The vehicle handles very tightly, brakes responsively, and accelerates like an m3 should. This car is a blast to drive. I dare say it's impossible to find more car for the money. The previous owner replaced the BMW roundels on the hood, trunk, and wheel center caps with black and silver carbon fiber-look emblems. The factory radio has been replaced with a Pioneer DEH-P3900MP AM/FM/CD player with Sirius satellite radio. A dealer-installed BMW alarm and keyless entry has been installed. Other than that, the car is original. I'm sure if you are shopping for a car of this caliber you already know what makes it great, so I will take a fem moments to fill you in on the less than perfect aspects of the car. The steering wheel is a little loose. Read: The steering is not loose, it's just that the wheel has a little play in it on the spindle. This does not change the handling of the vehicle. The keyhole in the driver's door occasionally will not turn. The SRS (airbag) light is on in the dash. I have not had this checked, but it is a common problem on e36 vehicles. The driver's side rear seatbelt is stuck and the trim piece around it is cracked. The passenger's side door panel has been repaired over the door pockets with some automotive grade carpeting. Included with the sale will be a clean North Carolina title (it is currently in route to me via mail), extensive service records arranged in order in a binder, 3 (yes, three) BMW keys and a keyless entry fob, m3 specific and 1995 BMW brochures, owner's manual with leather cover, and a Haynes repair manual. The vehicle is available for viewing and test drives for serious, capable buyers in the Wilmington, North Carolina area by appointment. Please call me, Joseph, at 919-221-8362 after 7pm or text any time. My price on this vehicle is $6,500. Of course, the best reasonable offer gets the car. This m3 is available for sale locally as well so this auction is subject to end at any time.On Dec-06-10 at 05:28:54 PST, seller added the following information: SquareTrade © AP6.0
