Vehicle Detail
Beautiful, 152 hp, Super-Sport Touring Motorcycle. Gorgeous, smooth, fast and comfortable, this has been my vacation and long weekend machine for 2 and a half years. I love my bike and hate to sell, but I just need the money. Somebody's going to get a great deal here, because this GT is fully factory-loaded, and I added $1000's of aftermarket systems to this touring BMW. I've taken very good care of it; always garaged; and all the Service Records are included. This great GT is all yours, along with all the accessories I've used - for far less than the market value and way under KBB value. You can read all about the BMW GT - and this one is one of the best. Fast, great handling and comfortable - I have loved it!This 2007 BMW K1200GT, sold new in April 2007, is in very good condition and has only 19,800 miles - the vast majority of them long distance trips. Deep Blue Metallic, this Beemer is a head-turner. Included BMW factory options are the very (very) bright $465 Xenon Headlamp, the $800 Electronic Suspension Adjustment (ESA), extra-safe $365 Automatic Stability Control (ASC - traction control), $280 Heated Seats (rider & pillion - keep her warm too :)), $235 Heated Grips, $260 Tire Pressure Monitoring System, $325 Cruise Control and $275 On-Board Computer. Included BMW Accessories are a super-convenient set of $250 BMW Saddlebag Liners. For trips, sound and communication is critical, and this super-reliable tourer includes two Autocom systems, a $750 Autocom Pro-7 Sport Intercom & Sound System, and a supplemental $175 Autocom Easi-Advance Sound System. Plus, I always liked to know exactly where I was going and what I'd find when I got there, so I had my BMW Dealer install (and hard-wire mount) a state of the art $899 Garmin Zumo 550 GPS Navigation System w/ XM and the $299 Garmin GXM 30 GPS XM Traffic & Weather Antenna to go with it. You'll have to get your own XM account - which is easy - but the system is all here to give you all 100+ XM & Sirius stations wherever you go and inform you about construction zones, current traffic conditions, plus current XM weather and forecasts. All of these systems are in very good condition with full functionality. There are two BMW Keys - both with electronic security chips and both matched to lock/unlock the seats and bags. Of course, the original BMW owners manual is included. To hold the Garmin Nav (and my radar unit and garage door opener - neither included), I had installed a $175 Big Mak Accessory Shelf. I am 6'3", so the two windshields are the standard height with a Laminar Lip and a Cee Bailey Extra-Tall wind screen. Plus, I installed a Tour Performance bar-riser, giving 2 additional inches of reach. I am also including my small tank bag, nylon bike cover, keyed security brake-lock and combination helmet/accessory cable & lock. The bike has two imperfections - some scratches on the left side hard cases (pictured) and two small cracks in the Cee Bailey tall windshield. The tires are perfectly fine, but you'll want to replace them within 1500 miles or so. (I would have put new tires on the bike - but that would have raised the price. Plus, the variety of tires available for this bike is very wide - and you may want more stable touring or the quicker-turn in you get with deeper profile sport tires. I have run both. I've run Pirelli Diablo Rosso and Michelin Pilot Sport. The Michelins are on the bike now. My buddies have been talking about a new Continental tire - I might have done that next - but you get the option.)Bid with confidence. The bike is solid, the price is low and I am a solid (occasional) eBay seller. All in all, this is a great deal, and if you want a bargain on a powerful luxury sport touring bike, I can't imagine you'll do better. I've sold 4 other bikes (2 BMW's) over the years on eBay, and they have all been win-wins. Check my feedback details, you'll see what the guys said who bought from me before. Great easy deals, top quality & value and happy all around. Among the bikes I've sold here are an 06 R1200GS, an 02 R1150RT, a 2007 Kawasaki C14 and a 98 Excelsior Henderson Super X. There is a credit union loan on my GT, so the title delivery will be very shortly after the payoff. I will make that payoff within 1 business day after I receive full payment. The bike itself is yours to take immediately upon full payment. I will work with the winning bidder to help you arrange shipping or, of course, you can come pick up the bike (Phoenix AZ). I need a deposit to secure our deal very shortly after the auction ends (see terms - most people use PayPal - but I'm open and reasonable) - so be ready to enjoy your new ride!
