1981 BMW 320i (e21) NO RESERVE! 121,021 miles California Car with no winter use, It has been stored inside every winter since it was brought to pennsylvania. Rust Free Other than some very minor surface rust under the car. I did put a two part apoxy resin under the car to protect it thats why it apears green, the resin is transparent so it still shows what was there before I was going to paint it black but never got to it. The shock towers are in great condition and have never been replaced. The paint is in good condition for its age, it doesn't need painted but if your a detailed person about cosmetics you could repaint it. I recently two toned the bottom because of some stone chips it turned out good. there was no rust prior to paint i have pictures of it before paint to show it 4 cylinder, 5 speed transmission shifts as it should, RWD with a positive traction rear end engages as it should (factory), good clutch. Fresh tune up (new spark plugs, ignition wires, distributer cap and rotor, new fan belt, new batery, new k&n free flow intake, new fuel filter) Runs Great. New Tires less than 15 miles ago, Cooper Trendsetter SE size p185/70r13. The wheels are original and in good condition with a matching spare. Breaks are good and it goes down the road beautifully. The leather interior is in very good condition for being 30 years old. Sunroof works properly and doesn't leak. (It cranks open) The dash has a few minor cracks due to california sun but all in all not bad. The radio works but doesnt sound very good, I did replace the rear speakers and install an audiovox equalizer with new speaker wire but i think its the head unit (30 years old) All the original wiring for the stereo is still there and uncut if you wanted to do something with it. This car came with ac and is all there but I removed the belt because I drove it with windows down sunroof open. I dont know if it works but I do know if you hook it back up it will need recharged. The trunk is rather large for all the bigger the car is. This car still has all the original tools that came with it back in 1981. The only thing it needs is minor exhaust repair there is a leak right befor the mufler (that was next on my list) and an inspection sticker. The second owner was an elderly man who only drove it to the golf coarse on the weekends I have nothing to hide with this car it is a very solid car. Odometer is correct.
