Vehicle Detail
Car is being relisted because last buyer was Fraud attempt. Please know if you're trying money order fraud or wishing me to ship the car out of country that THIS WILL NOT HAPPEN. I have bought and sold a lot in the past on ebay and don't appreciate fraud attempts or activity. Also with the new listing though I will add some things I had forgot in the last auction. 1991 Toyota MR2 for sell. Car body has 209k miles and the motor has aprox. 125k miles. Car is very dependable and I commute daily from Garner to Durham NC and never any trouble. Has very cold a/c and everything but the cruise control and passenger window switch works (driver side switch does roll the window down). Keep in mind the car is 19 years old and shouldn't be expected to be perfect or mint in any way. The dash is in poor condition, missing some inside panels, needs a hood and windshield, and is in much need of a paint job. Has a after market header and AEM cold air intake along with a recent full tune up and inspection. The only mechanical issue (that I'm aware of) it needs is new front brake pads and rotors (i have the pads already just not took time to put them on) and I just had the exhaust fixed where it blew out the flex pipe. Still I average close to 32mpg normally and the car has nearly new tires on the rear and the fronts are in good condition but more used (approx 60% tread remain). I may have forgot some things but if interested just message me and I'll do my best to answer any questions as fast and honest as possible. Details on the hood and windshield are follows. Before I bought the car the hood was not latched properly and it blew up and smacked the windshield. So the hood is warped and needs replaced along with the glass. I got bored and painted the hood to look silly but the car has not been drove hard by me (I've owned the car well over a year now and it's been my daily driver so I do my best to keep it dependable). Would make a great car with some TLC and new paint she could make a great car. I have three cars now and a child so it's not needed for me to keep the car or I would love to hold on to her. Thanks for looking Payments are either cash, paypal or bank certified check (but prefer cash). A deposit of $500 is due within 48 hours of winning bid if the car is not picked up before then. Also car is expected to be picked up no later then two weeks after auction end unless you want to pay for storage fees. Also buyer is responsible for all shipping and picking up. Will be willing to drive the car to meet you up to 100 miles for extra but please email me if you have questions. Please no time wasters or scam messages (I've sold plenty of cars on ebay and other sites). Please email me prior to bidding or buying if you have any questions or concerns. Title is in hand. Information added with re-list. Keep in mind this is a very dependable affordable car and should not be expected to be in pristine shape. If you want a new car please go to a car dealership and buy a new car. This needs a lot of little things that are to be expected with a 20 year old car. Some small issues are as follows. Leaking t-top (not bad, but will need new seals eventually if you want it perfect), aftermarket horn, needs paint job, needs shifter boot, needs re-view mirror, needs passenger sunshade, the two driver rims have very very slow leaks, burns about a quart of oil for every 3000 miles, air bag light stays on, and other really small things that do not effect reliability. Please do email me or contact me and I'll be more then happy to be 100% honest as possible and try to think of every little thing. But you're not going to find a more dependable, solid MR2 for the price. But as stated the car needs TLC and little things if you want it perfect.
