This is a No Reserve auction for a 1988 Mazda RX-7. I volunteer for a non-profit in downtown Denver. We have a charity car donation program. This RX-7 was donated to us. As a result, I don't have a lot of history with it. What I do know is that it runs and drive and is in very nice shape. I see no evidence of rust. There's one piece of molding that's got about 2 inches that's not attached. An easy fix. The convertible top has 2 areas where it's splitting at the seams. Also fixable. Interior seats are a tad rougher. Driver's seat has worn thru to the stuffing in areas. Tires are good. Windshield is cracked. Dash is good. And everything appears to be working.... Air, Heat, Radio. It's a convertible as well as a T-Top. I forgot to look at engine. I guessed at 4 cylinders, but maybe 6. I figure if you are in the market you'll know! Our mechanic went thru it. All he needed to do was add a quart of oil and tightened the battery cables. Please don't ask me if it'll make it to Sacramento or Memphis. I have no idea. It's 22 years old. All I can say is it's running now. I always suggest that people transport the cars rather than drive them home. We don't know the car well so I'm just not comfortable watching folks drive off into the sunset. The donors bought it in 1992 with 52K miles on it. They obviously have not driven it a ton in the last 18 years. That's about all I know. Best to email me with questions but I really don't know much more. If you're close by and want to see it you have to make an appointment. We have it parked in a locked, unmanned warehouse. I will consider any strong offers. We don't have a set price in mind but if you want to present a $$ I will consider it. We are in downtown Denver so if you are out of state and want to bid, great. But we need it picked up ASAP. We will not be your garage for 2 weeks or a month. I know transport is not an exact science but I do expect you to sign up for one within 24 hours of buying this vehicle. We have a delaer's license so we'll have to do all the dealer paperwork with you no matter where you live. But if you live in Colorado we will have to charge state and maybe rtd tax depending on where you live. state = 2.9%. rtd = 1.2%. Also, if it sells for less than $700 we will be adding $150 for dealer handling. There is alot of paperwork involved and since this is a 'no reserve' auction it could sell at any price and i just want our costs covered. And.... if you like this car but want it slightly different we have it! Yes, we have another similar RX-7 that I haven't put on ebay yet. 1988. Hardtop with sunroof. Red. 135K.
