1967 Mercury Cougar This is a '67 cougar, blue with black vinyl top, automatic transmission, 289 v-8. There is no visible rust on the body, however there is some on the drivers side floor pan and in the trunk on the drivers side. The vehicle was recently painted before I bought it, and had a new vinyl top installed. Its a great looking car. The interior is a little rough, the vinyl seats are ripped and the headliner has been cut out. Carpets are good and the dash is in great shape. The original AM radio is still in the car. The sequential turn signals no longer work, though they still signal. The wipers are also not working. The engine runs well. Two years ago I bought it in Dallas and drove it to Kansas City (500 miles) without any problems. It could use some suspension work, particularly in the front, but other than that its a dream to drive. I hate to get rid of it but don't have the time to dedicate to the car that I would like. Since I bought it it has been stored in my garage out of the elements. The mileage listed is incorrect, the odometer is no longer functional.
