Vehicle Detail

1947 Dodge WC half ton pickup. This truck starts (I have a video if you would like to see it). The tranny works (another video). I posted as many pictures as I could. I have others with magnets hanging on it if you would like to see. Tires hold air but are shot. Brakes will need to be re-done. Truck will require a going over, but it is solid. No cowl lights, Call if you have questions. Would make a good project regardless of the direction that you head (restoration, resto-mod, street rod). 6 cylinder flatty with a 3 speed transmission. Rear fenders have some splits but they can be repaired. NO TITLE. I will provide whatever documentation that you need. I purchased this truck 3 years ago via a bill-of-sale out of Massachusetts. You will see lettering from a scholl district (out of Washington State). They confirmed that it was their truck. Truck was manufactured in Los Angeles. Truck is located in St Petersburg, FL (33704) Will assist in loading. Buyer responsible for organizing pick up and or shipment. Buyer responsible for all shipping costs. On Nov-29-10 at 11:42:57 PST, seller added the following information: 1. It has been converted to 12v 2. How do I know it runs when the pictures show the gas tank is rusted through on the top (bed picture - driver side)? I hooked up a lawn mower tank in the engine compartment (complete with a shut off valve). 3. New plugs, points, wires, coil 4. Please check questions as well...I post all of them (except those dealing with requests to come by and see it) 5. The dog isn't included.......On Dec-01-10 at 16:54:58 PST, seller added the following information: Truck is being sold via a Bill of Sale (BOS). How will I get it titled? I spent some time talking with the Florida DMV (where I am) and the California DMV (because of a question - I didn't post the response because the sender included his telephone #). I would suggest that y'all do the same if you do not live in either of those two states. The rules vary by state (no new news). Tomorrow I will contact a company that supports getting a title and will add that intel here. So here is the deal. If you are in California, you cannot get the truck titled via a BOS. Period, end of story. If you are in Florida, you can. Tomorrow, I will contact my local DMV office to learn what is required to get a title (versus the call I made to Tallahassee). I'll update you here on that as well. So if you are in California...or any other state...please check back tomorrow for more updates on this. Thank you.On Dec-02-10 at 07:23:50 PST, seller added the following information: Title/Bill of Sale Update: Here is the deal and nothing but the deal. I ask that the ultimate winner be patient for a week or two. I will get the vehicle titled in Florida prior to turnover. I have the paperwork/understand the process. I hope that this clears this issue up. So California bidders....BID!!
