mikehenya store To save you some time you are bidding on a car with a REBUILT SALVAGE TITLE, I bought this car a couple of years ago and drove it daily with no issues, so don't let the title scare you! This means the car was previously wrecked and the insurance company paid it off at one point. It was repaired, inspected and now has a good title that shows rebuilt. It means nothing except the car is cheaper and was rebuilt. You don't have to do anything except get plates like normal. Now that that is out of the way, here are the good points. This is a VERY dependable car, it was my daily driver up until about 4 months ago. I am a traveling IT support person and drove anywhere from 50 to 500 miles a day (yes a day). I have no doubt that you could fly or drive in and drive this car 500 miles home and not have an issue. My job has changed and now I have to haul more around with me, I am required to drive an SUV. I hate to sell this car, the gas mileage was great and it is definitely the funnest car I have ever owned. Everyone looks as you go by..... It has a little under 94,000 miles. Power windows, locks, mirrors, heated seats,Heat and Air work GREAT! Stereo is a Modified Pioneer System with navigation with updated maps, Back up Camera, ipod direct cable to play music and movies from ipod or iphone, bluetooth for handsfree phone safety, mp3 support an MTX 601D amp and a Cerwin Vega 10" sub+++. Previous owner for some reason put tweeters in the door pillars. I don't like where they are, but they sound ok. If you DON'T want the Navigation System and Amp/Sub I will take it out and put the original stereo back in and take $350 off the winning bid. The MB Quart door and tweeter combo stay regardless. Always starts right up, runs, drives, shifts right, awd works right. Stage 2 tuning by Brandon at XPT tuning. Mods include XPT Stage 2 91-93 octane flash with launch control. REflashing hardware included, cables, software and info.SS Belmouth Downpipe w/heatwrapped Highflow CC,SS C*tted UP pipe, Adjusted boost, Grimspeed Boost Control Solenoid, Wideband o2 Sensor with Guage and interfaces with XPT for tuning. Front STi Control arms, Front Whiteline swaybar and endlinks. Adjustable Shift Light built into the clock The car was never raced, taken to a track or abused. I will say I never had trouble getting on a highway on ramp though!! It is fast! The bad points: The ABS IS NOT WORKING. I didn't NOT look in to it, I never really cared. Not sure if it is disconnected, a fuse or gone all together(I'm sure that's not the case). Whoever did the body work on the original repair must not have been that good, there is a spot about 3 inches or so cracking in the trunk lid where they obviously used putty. The trunk lid itself doesn't line up perfect, but does shut and latch. Again, since it was a couple thousand cheaper than other WRX's that I looked at, I really didn't care. There is some rust starting around the lip of both rear fender wells. One is worse than the other. It is in the pictures. The interior isn't bad, there are 2 snags on the front passenger seat that wouldn't show up in the pics because the seats are black. There is what looks like a cigarette burn in the back seat, but I'm not sure because it didn't smell like the car was smoked in before I got it, and It certainly hasn't been smoked in since. Passenger side window glass has a bunch of scratches in it from a bad piece of molding that I had replaced. It doesn't impair vision, so I didn't worry about getting a new one. Windows are tinted but the scratches are in the glass. Hood has LOT'S of chips from all the highway driving. Has quite a few scratches and dents from city driving, this is not a show car by any means, that is why the reserve is so low!! If you are looking to make money on this car you would have to repaint the whole car! If you just want something to drive that is fun and dependable at a huge discount, then this is probably what you are looking for! If you live close PLEASE come look it over, I don't think you will be disappointed for the low reserve, it runs great. Serious bidders and lookers only, I don't want any trades and NO I don't want to race your buddy or watch you learn how to drive stick shift! I will be happy test drive with a serious bidder. It is the auto dimming type, but it quit working and now looks oily. When they go bad, that is what happens, it makes it usable, but a little hard to see out of at night. Could be replaced with a cheap standard one ($25 on eBay) or the correct one for $100ish. Reserve is UNDER $6000 minus the stereo.....This is probably the cheapest ready to drive dependable 04 listed ever, i searched the archive! Look for yourself. Put a mirror in, drive it and do a little paint work over the summer! On Nov-30-10 at 17:44:35 PST, seller added the following information: I am getting a CRAZY amount of interest and a ton of questions. Let me say I have enjoyed driving this car almost daily for nearly 2 years with absolutely no problems of ANY SORT!!! YES IT IS VERY FAST !!! NO I do not know what it will do in a 1/4 mile, I did not build it to race, I am an IT person and I enjoyed playing with the ECU maps! Some of the hardware mods were done before I got it, I just finished what it needed to go from a stage 1 to Stage 2 and WHAT A DIFFERENCE! Again, I just enjoyed driving it as a traveling IT rep in my Ohio/ PA region! My new position requires me to carry Servers and other large equipment in my vehicle and they now reimburse me to drive an SUV. I hate it, but I don't want to see the SUBY sit around over the winter. Last and MOST IMPORTANT.......I HAVE TITLE IN HAND but my schedule is crazy. We will need to work out a pick up time that works for both of us! I just got my schedule and as it stands right now you could pick it up any time the 25th-28th, or by 9am on the 29th. Then anytime the 4th or 5th of DEC. We will need to talk about other times. Please contact me if this is a problem.
