1960 BUICK LESABRE This Buick is a desirable 2 door hardtop which was painted to a copper color by the previous owner. The 1960 Buick Lesabre is a one year style only. In 1959 the front and rear were different, and in 1961 they downsized the whole car. It has a 364 nailhead 8 cylinder which runs great! It also has new shocks and springs, which makes this car seem like it is just floating down the road. This 1960 Buick Lesabre has 52,000 miles. It had 49,000 miles when I purchased it from Arizona. The original title from Arizona with raised seal stated this is so, so I believe it to be true. I live in NY and have driven this car to Carlisle, PA and to a couple of shows south Jersey with no problems. The car has 4 brand new coker 4” whitewalls that really make it stand out with the white hard top. I also have a 5th coker tire mounted on a new rim as the spare in the huge trunk. I have done tons of mechanical work to this vehicle to get it running great! (see list) All that is needed is to finish up the cosmetics and this car would be complete. This car has a 4661 carburetor right now, but I do have the original Stromberg setup with original air cleaner assembly. It runs so well, as you will see if you come look at it, that I don’t want to change it back and have to tune it again. This car starts right up every time and idles beautifully. I have installed a push button start under the dash and a nice set of oil temperature and voltage gauges there too. The original AM tube radio is there and working. The original clock is there, but not working. I think the contacts are bad, but I have the replacements. ( Just haven’t gotten around to it yet.) I am asking a very reasonable price, not even close to what I have invested, but I know you never get what you put in. Whoever gets this car will be very happy with it. It is such a great cruiser and it stands out at every show and cruise night. I have been to many cruise nights and shows and it has been the only car of its kind there.
