I am selling this vehicle for a close personal friend of mine whom i have known for over twenty years. This truck was built by him for him. I have seen the truck and know most of the details of the build and can answer any questions. if you would like to talk to him personally, his name is Mitch and you can reach him at 406-250-6997 afternoons and evenings daily. 1950 Willys pickup 2wd: 300 horse Ford 302 V8 engine, edelbrock four barrel carb, jet hot coated full length headers, dual exhaust, electric fan, power steering, power brakes, volare independent front end, front disc brakes, C4 automatic transmission, tilt steering, grant wheel, bomber suspension seats- flip forward with storage compartments underneath. Billet door pulls, hand fabricated aluminum door inserts, Ford GT 40 style seat cushions have aluminum rings pressed into material. Headlights, tail lights, full set of gauges, everything works. New glass, new paint - Cab and hood painted a light metallic green with flattening agent added, fenders and bed sprayed with clear coat. As you can see the body is mint, the 60 year old fenders were sanded to bare metal and are nearly perfect, sprayed with clear to match the bed. The bed, side skirts, and stake corners and rear tail pan were hand fabricated. Hundreds of hours into fabricating these parts alone. If you look closely at the pictures you can see lots of deatils - the stake corners have an aluminum mesh screen sandwiched between the metal plates on each of the drilled holes. All fasteners are brass, all the welds on the bed and stake corners are flawless brass welds. The front fenders have brass welds on the seams to match the rear. bronze end caps with brass fittings were brass welded to end of the bedrails. Antique brass fire extinguisher mounted on bracket fastened with leather straps on end of passenger bed side. Truck has brand new American racing Hopster wheels, 20x10 rear and 17x7 front, brand new tires. The truck has less than 800 miles since completion. Selling due financial situation.
