1986 VF 500 F . I have owned this bike and its sister parts bike for 11 years now . these 500's are very dependable and easy on gas and insurance. I have had 5 now and they have all been great!!!!!! this one I assembled after 10 years due to a bad gas tank which I had to find on the net. so we took all the best parts from both bikes and put this one together . I rode this bike all summer this summer putting 2000 miles on it and never had a problem weather I ran it hard or babied it. this particular bike has all the options on it that one could have and with the rear solo seat cover makes it very rare. the rubber is 85 % or better and it has a new chain . we changed turn signals and got rid of the mirrors to give it and up dated look. all this bike needs now is a paint job to complete it. this would make a great collectors piece or a great everyday driver . I do have two of everything for this bike including another frame that was my 1984 with a clean title. another running motor , plastic, rims and tires ect ect. you could build another complete bike if you wished. we are listing the bike locally as well . the reason for the sale is I have purchased another bike and need the room . if you have any questions you may call me at 734-377-6283.
