1965 Plymouth Sport Fury - Original Big Block 383 2bbl engine with 727 Auto transmission and 8.75 2.23 rear axle. Drivetrain This vehicle still has its complete original drive train. Car runs and drives fantastic and has a very smooth ride!!! This has been a very reliable car, in the past five years since I have owned it I have driven over 6000 trouble free miles. I still put a couple hundred miles a month on it with weekend cruises. Body/Exterior The body is completely original with what looks like one repaint. The door jambs, underhood and inside of trunk lid still has all of its original paint. The l/s quarter has several bubbles, the r/s has a bubble at the very bottom. The trunk floor does has some rust through but not real bad. (see pictures) The rest of the body is very very solid. With no signs of Bondo/plastic or any other repairs. Exterior trim and chrome is in fair condition. Interior Interior has new Legendary Seat covers, new carpet and a recovered dash pad. The rest of the interior is ALL original. All lights, accessories and gauges (except clock) work. All glass is in good shape. Car has new tires and the entire has been thoroughly checked over every year to ensure its dependability. My wife and daughters have driven this car to car shows and cruises the past several summers. I would not be worried about driving this car anywhere!!! I have a clean PA title. Car has its fender tag and two build sheets. Overall this is a nice #3 condition vehicle and a lot of fun to drive and gets plenty of looks. Please call with any questions. I do not know when the one repaint was done. I'm guessing about 10-12 years ago because it is showing some wear and there are some chips and scratches. I drove the car about 75 miles yesterday and did notice a small bubble above r/s w/house that I did not mention above. Also, this car is for sale locally and will end auction early if the car sells.
