1985 BMW 745i Turbo E23 Executive Model (Vehicle has a 2.93 stock lsd diff that will be removed from vehicle-Can test drive in next 30 days with diff in place)Bring your diff and I will install and you can drive away) if you do not understand this do not bid Factory Options: Water Buffalo Nutria leather in very good condition tear on driver armrest only should be leather treated and possibly dyed, no other Nutria car to compare to. Brown carpet in excellent condition, dash has a few cracks, driver A pillar trim has a tear, Factory power front & rear seats, Factory front & rear heated seats, Seat controls in rear armrest.Factory rear sunshade, power windows, sunroof, power door locks all work perfectly. No Radios, Had front & rear becker radios. Exterior was originally silver, painted satin black(flat) including all trim/grills/ bumpers-looks decent probably a 5 (1-10 one being best). 1 small dent passenger rear door, driver front fender has small dent about 1 inch long more like a ting crease next to the turn signal lens. Rear bumper has bent in the center.INCLUDES are brand new front & rear BMW factory European bumpers- unpainted as delivered from factory. has 16 inch Alpina twin spoke 5 sopke wheels (ALPINA is what the wheel covers say) I highly doubt these are real alpina wheels as I have never seen this design, wheels are painted sating black as well, Has 4 new tires. All glass is crack and scratch free and appears to be original. All body panels are mint except where noted above. No rust that is VISIBLE and does not appear to have any rust anywhere, this was a Pensacola, Florida car until I bought in Dec 2007 and had shipped to Washington State. Glass sunroof, ABS brakes, Newer rear muffler VEHICLE HAS NO CATALYST and is how I bought-buyer responsible for all emissions testing and possible work in your state. Vehicle has no work done from the factory European car aside from a US speedometer in MPH rather than KPH hence the true mileage I cannot say for certain, However the condition appears to spot on for the mileage. HEALTHY M106 Powerplant compresion 150-160 psi across all cylinders, cylinder leakage less than 15% all cylinders.Has Manual 262 4 speed transmission, M5 15lbs flywheel, M5 clutch and pressure plate, Throw bearing a bit noisy. A properly converted to Manual car. KKK 26 turbo with v band same inducer as k27, smaller exducer spools at 1800 rpm, cartech regulator, Miller ecu chip, wastegate mod,xs blow off valve, tacky boost guage installed on top of dash by last owner,really horrible but works. FRONT BRAKE ROTORS ARE BADLY WARPED, SEVERE PULSATION WHEN BRAKING FRONT STRUTS ARE SHOT, SEVERE BOUNCING WHEN BRAKING Both of these items need attention before a long trip HVAC system does not work, all parts of system are intact and never messed with however blower does not work, still has freon in system, have not tested system to see what it needs,Heavy duty radiator installed, thermostat bypass runs 140-160f under all conditions. Spark plus needed plugs are good but are platinum which does not work well in this car, will likely change before end of auction.Trans fluid and diff fluid changed about 100 miles ago, trans had some small particles in fluid but no noise or difficulty shifting, Trans was pulled from a 700,000 mile E23 733i in a Lakewood,WA wrecking yard in 2009. I have never been able to destroy a 262 4 speed trans (this is not from a M10 car-that piece of junk would not hold up) Small amount of oil seepage from front timing cover, had a massive oil leak yesterday from a blown oil pressure sending unit on the head, replaced with a new unit from a 1991 735i e32 i had to wire in the different connector. New 4 wire oxygen sensor installed and wired in properly. Appears to have 4 aftermarket speakers installed in the factory holes- no cutting was done. Vehicle was dynoed with 340rwhp in June 2010 running open exhaust from turbo about 12 inches piping at 10 Psi, right now running through full twin factory exhaust it pegs 15 psi but is down significantly on power as I am driving the car now, I plan to go back to open exhaust, it sounded similiar to a small block chevy running a radical cam, it has forced many turbo cars into submission including another 745i turbo running around Kitsap County,WA. taste touch drive @ illahee, WA 98311 310-936-6162 Realistic Reserve $1500.00 get her now 310-936-6162 with questions no idiots, no time wasters, parting the vehicle out probably worth several thousands, know this before you call
