This turbo diesel vehicle has been dealer serviced at the same location since new, sparing no expense (Contemporary Cars, now Mercedes Benz of Orlando Maitland). Records of service are available. My wife decided to buy a new one, so we are selling this nearly perfect car. This is a Florida car; delivered and driven for its entire history with no exposure to road salt or corrosion. For this reason, there is no rust of any kind on any part of this vehicle, includeing the underside components. You will get a reliable 30+ MPG with this vehicle. Highway mileage is usually 33 MPG. Without the AC running, you can expect 35 MPG on the highway. Starts instantly, runs smooth, shifts perfectly. No oil burning, oil consumption, blowby, or engine/transmission problems of any kind. No smoke from tailpipe. Extensive service history includes a new factory transmission (shipped from Germany) installed at 190,689 miles, new glow plugs and relay at 192,438 miles, a new fuel pump at 215,815 miles. This car was purchased from its first owner in 2003, and since that time has been exclusively serviced using AMSOIL synthetic lubricants. Both the current owner and previous owner had the vehicle serviced at the same Florida dealership. No suspension or alignment problems. Tires have better than 50% life remaining, and don't show any signs of cupping or uneven wear attributable to mechanical issues. Interior (MB TEX) is like new. Headliner, Seats, Carpet, and floormats are perfect. The car has been recently detailed. Trunk is clean and trunk carpet is like new. All electronic accessories work perfectly. Vehicle has the 6 disc CD changer mounted in trunk (Factory Original). Vehicle has a bluetooth setup for handsfree cell phone calls (provided your cell phone has bluetooth capability). Air Conditioner blows cold and works perfectly. Flaws are limited to: (1) Cracked rear bumper insert from backing into light post (The damaged bumper insert is shown in a close-up photo). Repair estimated at $700.00. (The estimated cost of this potential repair has been deducted from the auction reserve price figured against Kelly Blue Book value.) (2) cracked black plastic air dam below front bumper (3) Some slight paint fade on hood and on roofline above windshield (I tried to make it show in photos and can't. It is hard to notice) (4) small crack (hard to notice) in woodgrain section of instrument panel near radio. (4) Some discoloration of steering wheel (hard to see in photos) (5) An intermittant warning lamp for the airbag system; however, dealer computer test found no problem with the system.
