I am the third owner of this 1982 Fiat Spider 2000. The car runs great and I drive it at least three times a week. This Fiat has brand new tires (less than 300 miles), a new battery, new spark plugs, a new fuel pump, a new exhaust system and a new AM/FM/CD stereo. The frame is in excellent condition. The paint is in good shape but far from showroom quality. All the mechanical functions work well. Excellent brakes, clutch and the 5-speed manual transmission runs smooth. Most of the electrical systems work well. A bulb is out on the right headlight, the air conditioner does not work and the fuel guage does not register (I believe it is just a fuse). The interior is in overall fair condition. The dashboard is in excellent condition, the center console is in poor condition and the front seats are in fair condition, although the passenger seat has a small tear and should be re-upholstered. The convertible roof is in poor condition but I never pull it up. It keeps the rain out while driving. The rear window should be replaced as it is overly cloudy and has a tear in it. There is some rust in the left back seat floor pan. There are not any major dents on the car....just a couple of normal wear and tear dings. I have had a lot of fun with the car during the past 6 years. Always fun to drive and always get lots of attention. Thanks for looking and if you have any questions, let me know.
