This was a project that I purchased almost a year ago.I have lots of hard work and time not to mention money invested into this car.Well,Christmas is around the corner.This would make someone a super gift.I also have a family and times are getting tough,so needless to say it has to go.Family comes first.My loss is your gain.These cars are selling for high money.Just look at some of the other General Lee cars,not cheap.Here is a chanceto own a nice show car or a daily driver.Your choice.Car has been in storage the last 3 months.It will be sold to the highest bidder.This ia a fun car.Treat it with respect and you can enjoy it for a long time.It's amazing how many Dukes fans there are out there!No matter where you go thereare always people taking pics of it. The car does not have matching number motor or tranny. It is now a big block 413 engine out of an RV(showed 43k miles when pulled) This car does run and drive.I have driven it with a dealer tag and put 10 miles on the newly rebuilt transmission.It ran out great.The power steering unit made a little whine.The belt may be loose or fluid could be low.Easy fixAlso the famous dixie horn is not in the car but can be easily purchased online or out of the JC Whitney catalog.That would complete the car.Newly rebuilt 727 automatic with shift kit.Nice black leather interior.New black carpet.Brand new bodywork and paint job was professionally performed. Paintwork is base coat with high solids clear coat.The confederate flag on roof as well as the 01 on door are hand painted on the car. The only decal on the car is the wording 'general lee'.The front and rear bumper are both powder coated,new replacement floor pans,also welded in frame connectors.Entire trunk floor is newly replaced.New frame rails,new fuel tank. There is a compound bow with arrows and fake dynamite sticks on the rear deck.
