For sale we have a 1996 Mitsubishi Eclipse Spyder GST. This eclipse has a 6 bolt swap, with less than 10,000 miles on the motor. If you know how to work on DSM's this is a great deal. This car has a big 16g turbo, 520 injectors, cold air intake, Greddy blow-off valve, Safc tuner ( built in center console). Halo black projector headlights, Wideband Air/Fuel ratio and aftermarket boost guage. New rotors and brake pads front and rear. The tires on this car have less than 500 miles on them. I have owned this car since 1998. The convertible top and metal framework and control arms for the top were all replaced in 2004. There are a few things going on with the car: Needs clutch, Check engine light is on. (air/fuel ratio and cylinder misfire) The check engine light has been on since the 6 bolt swap. Since the 6 bolt swap, every now and then it seems to cut a cylinder and i have not figured out why. I have been told there is a part from radio shack you can get that will fix this, but i am not 100% on that. I am not a master tuner, but have it tuned to a decent setting (could be better). Car was running good until the clutch went out. There are a few light scratches on the car, could be buffed out. The paint on the passenger side of the spoiler is fading, and the driver side rear window came off track. I have the window shimmed up to stay in place.The odometer reads 183,330 miles, but most of that was on the old motor. The AC in this car does not work, due to taking out compressor wich will come with the car when sold. An extra maf will also come with.I do not have enough free time anymore to work on this Eclipse and that is the reason I am selling. I am sure i am forgetting some things and if so will revise this listing. If any questions PLEASE e-mail and I will get back as soon as possible. I am an honest seller and will provide you with as much assistance as i can. Either if you need a car or parts, this car can be fixed or parted out also. I do have a reserve on this, it is less than $1,000. If you think about it, you could easily sell the turbo and tires for over $1,000. I do not have a place to work on this at all and do not have room for the parts to sit around. Winning bidder will have to tow or trailer to their location.
