Vehicle Detail

Two owner New Hampshire car, good for parts or for fixer-upper with ISO brake fitting experience, and maybe a serviceable anti-lock brake pump assembly, one circuit leaks by, also a new (this morning) RR brake line leak. New pump is > $1000. Years of salted roads have left sections of brake line corroded & weakened, much has been replaced, but still pieces left. Car can be driven on to a carrier, using emergency brake. Car always starts in all weather, 30mpg on highway, 3.8 liter engine has that common lifter noise at idle, otherwise runs fine. Some exhaust sound up near engine Y pipe, fairly recent, stored outside since May. New water pump with 600 miles on it. Transmission professionally rebuilt in upstate NY 1 year ago, new radiator went in with that. A/C still works, but is R22 refrigerant. Comes with OEM radio out, plus aftermarket radio w/CD player, new speakers up front. Tires have at leat 10,000 miles left on them, maybe 20k on this car, Michelin radials. Extra steel wheel with barely serviceable tire on it in trunk. Comes with 1993 GM Shop Manuals, mechanical & electrical. Comes with extra serpentine belt, extra Delco mass air flow sensor, new upper radiator hose & bypass hose. Just installed new metal bypass fitting in manifold, old plastic one sheared, New throttle position sensor installed 6 mo. ago, a 3 year interval service item, it seems. New front wheel bearings, ~ 1 year. Alternator is ~2 years old. Comes with 3/4 tank of fuel, could be most valuable part! Vehicle runs through front brake rotors at least double the rate of pads, but easy to change and cheap. The rotors warp. Rear brake pressure compensators have just been removed, so maybe rear brakes would start wearing (rear brakes are original equipment). Right rear fender well had a hole in it for a while, filled trunk up with water when it rained, is now patched with aluminum sheet metal. Left front fender met lightly with a deer, used headlight assembly & fender repaired with JB weld, not pretty but works. Paint is peeling, but the original zinc undercoat keeps the rust controlled. Some rot under right front door. New body / engine mount cushions on right hand side in front. Wheels are steel, with spoke wheel covers. More photos if any interest.
