This is a 2000 Ford Crown Victoria purchased by the City of Milford DE in June of 2000. The vehicle was used as a patrol vehicle for 2-3 years and then rotated into service by the Police Department's Senior Citizen Volunteer Patrol. Vehicle was used regularly until being retired due to age approx. 1 week ago. The vehicle has 101,800 miles and is serviced by the City Maintenance Division. Police vehicles are serviced every 300 hours when marked, and every 3,000 miles when rotated into secondary service. Major repairs are completed by the local Ford Dealership. This vehicle had a check engine light on. The OBD II sensor was read and the following codes were recorded: P0140: 02 Sensor Heater Circuit Bank1 Sensor 2 P0172: System too rich Bank 1 P0175: System too rich Bank 2 The codes were cleared and the indicator lamp turned off. The above items were NOT repaired. To date, the Malfunction Indicator Lamp (MIL) has not activated. The vehicle is sold AS-IS and there is no warranty expressed nor implied. The City of Milford will NOT be making repairs to the vehicle for the above listed issues prior to sale. The vehicle has dents and dings as would be expected with a vehicle used in Police Service. Tires are serviceable and vehicle starts, runs, and drives fine. There are holes drilled in the interior where equipment was mounted and there is a hole in the roof where the bar light was mounted. The hole has been plugged and covered with silicone to prevent leakage. Tires are serviceable and lights, horn, turn signals, brake lights, interior lights, etc... all seem to function properly. The vehicle is Delaware inspected through December 31, 2010. If the MIL activates, this vehicle will NOT pass Delaware inspection until the above noted issues are repaired. Please contact a mechanic or Ford Dealer for estimates on making the repairs and/or parts. Again, this vehicle is being sold AS-IS, and currently there seems to be no driveablilty issues. The City of Milford will accept Personal Checks, Certified Checks, Cash and Money Orders. We do not accept credit cards, we do not finance or accept payment plans, and we cannot stop the auction to sell the vehicle privately. Winning bidder MUST contact seller within 3 days after end of auction to detail payment and pick up plans. If buyer does not contact seller, the vehicle will be re-listed and negative feedback left. Payment must be made and vehicle removed within 14 days of auction end. All Shipping arrangements and costs are the responsibility of the BUYER. Vehicle is available for inspection at 400 NE Front Street, Milford DE 19963. This is the address where the vehicle must be picked up as well. All markings representing the City of Milford and/or City of Milford Police Department have been removed. Other striping was not removed due to expense. All Markings are Vinyl Decals, none of the visible striping or lettering is painted. Existing decals can be removed prior to delivery for an additional cost which must be pre-paid to the vendor.
