So hears the deal on this great ride. I bought this in late August with the highest of hopes of finishing it up and driving it this fall, sadly it just sits with no time at all to work on it. I did get one nice fall cruise which was nice. Well hear is what I do know about it, was originaly started as a father son project in Wyoming, I guess they invested about 11,000 in the started restoration and stopped as the son got older. They then sold it to another fellow who put another three thousand or more into at which time he lost interest and passed it on to me who invested another, got you there I haven't invested anything just run out of time right away. Here is what I do know for sure about the bus. The body has been done and resprayed in and out. It looks nice except for the left rear corner some bondo popped pictured. Doesn't seem to be any signs of rust past or present underneath look very fresh and new. Window glass all in great shape. Seals all replaced. I think most chrome and tailight lenses and such also replaced. New Custom Bumpers. Tires are michelin also new. The suspension and brakes all seem to be new, was lowered with a new adjustable front beam from bus boys and what ever you use on the rear I'll include the receipts that came with and show at least some of the work. The transmission was rebuilt and clutch. He said the motor was gone through not sure how far or if it was tweaked out it does have some mamoth webers setting on top. and new exhaust, a new Empi shifter. Comes with boxes of parts new and used. Has I think the complete interior still in boxes from TMI and new carpeting and headliner material. What it still needs as far as I can tell. The engine tin on the drivers side, engine seal is there new in the box. If you plan to use the heater it is missing most everyhing in the engine compartment the heater boxes do look just like new though. It wasn't charging when i got it. I hooked up a ground and it seems fine now but I haven't verifed that with an ampmeter just took it on a few drives and it still starts. There is a small backfire once in awhile which I think is a small exhaust leak somewhere. It will need the interior installed and undoubtly you will be missing some small part somewhere and probably have three extra of something else the way it looks. Some elctrical is hooked back up some isn't as is the speeometer not hooked up. It shifts pretty good but is missing the plastic bushing in the front rod underneath. With a little more work, you should have a really nice custom bus that's worth thousands more!! It does drive and run really nice. Just need someone to finish it off. Would make a great Christmas Present.
