Vehicle Detail
NO RESERVE I had been slowly building this into a race car but two days ago the rear end was damaged in a fire and I don't have the time or money to repair it. The engine was rebuilt from the ground up with high performance custom parts. The dash is carbon fiber with custom guages. The engine is completely controlled by a Haltech E6K programmable ECU (no factory ECU). The rest of the car (body, suspension, wheels) is still stock. If you're looking for a project car or parts car this is a great deal. I'll describe everything in more detail below: 1. ENGINE: JE Forged Pistons, Pauter Machine Forged Chrome Moly Rods, 10lb Aluminum Flywheel, High Performance Clutch, Ceramic Coatings on Pistons, Valves & Exhaust Ports, Original Crankshaft Lightened & Balanced, Original Block Bored & Decked , Original Cylinder Head Ported & Polished, Original Camshafts Reground for a Higher Performance Profile. New Valves/Oil Pump/Water Pump/Timing Chain etc etc. The car had 116k miles on it when the engine was rebuilt 5 years ago and only a few thousand have been added since then. 2. INTAKE: Custom Welded Aluminum Manifold, Four TWM 48mm Throttle Bodies, Carbon Fiber Airbox with Built-in TWM Aluminum Velocity Stacks. 3. ENGINE MANAGEMENT: Haltech E6K Programmable ECU. 4. DASHBOARD: Custom Carbon Fiber Dashboard, Auto Meter Pro-Comp Ultra-Lite Guages (Air-Fuel Ratio, RPM, Speedometer, Oil Pressure, Water Temp, Fuel Tank) 5. FIRE DAMGE: A car parked behind mine caught fire and the rear end of my car was damaged (see pics). The rear bumper and lights were melted and the battery is partially damaged (the car still starts up though). The fire department broke open the trunk while extinguishing the fire and it's badly bent up. There does not appear to be any fire damage forward of the rear tires, however there is smoke and water residue in the interior. The drivers side window was broken by the fire department and the glass has not been cleared from the inside. All pictures were taken after the fire damge. The car is currently registered and passed smog the last time it was tested. I am selling it AS-IS with NO WARRANTY. Let me know if you want to take a look at it before bidding and please feel free to email with any questions. Good Luck! On Nov-15-10 at 22:00:36 PST, seller added the following information: Update 11/15/10: I wanted to add that all non-performance part were removed when I rebuilt the engine (A/C, heater, power steering, cruise control, ABS, radio etc). All stock wiring was ripped out and replaced, the windows and wipers and operated by custom switches on the dash and the horn has not yet been wired (but it has a switch on the dash). Also, I've got some questions about power & torque. I hadn't put it on a dyno yet so I don't have actual numbers. It has a lot of high end but with the four big throttles you have to ease into it or it will run lean. My next project was going to be to design a progressive linkage on the throttles so they opened more gradually. Tuning the programmable throttle pump feature on the Haltech E6k may also fix this issue. Feel free to ask me any questions before you bid. And if you live in the area you can take a look at it before bidding.
