1972 Datsun 240Z V8 conversion complete and driven regularly. Here's the pros.. Chevy 350V8 with Chevy TH350 3spd. automatic with b&m rachet shifter, aluminum radiator Eldebrock 750 cfm, MSD distributor, R200 rearend with 280Z half-shafts 4 bolts around. Custom rear suspension, all reinforced and beefed up for torque, Front sway bar is beefy and reinforced as well. Hood is custom with louvers and 2" L88 style hood scoop ,all metal. Photos reveal the interior with custom short shifter, almost all interior is custom including digital instrument panel. Interior has 4 point harness seats and belts, ignition key and headlight panels are complete custom, complete dash is custom, including complete wiring system, custom fuse panel installed, Custom strut stationery tower bar installed for body support. Custom rear tail lights made especially for this vehicle, rear bumper has removed and body molded to curve minus bumper. Complete drive-train is custom, including custom shaped complete magnaflow 2.5 freeflow system...car originally had old tired Datsun engine, now she's a go-getter. Car rides on front: 225/40/18 and Rear: 265/35/18 all Kumho's with 80% tread. Wheels are drag concept 18x8 both front and back, also comes with spare matching wheel. Car has not been dyno'd, so RWHP and top speed is not known, but she's fast. Here's the cons: There really aren't any except someday I'll switch to a 700R4 or a 4L60. nothing like an extra gear!!!!! also the interior metal work where the small windows were removed could a little finishing to your liking. Has speakers in the doors and stereo is am/fm cassette. Other than those mentioned car is absolutely sound and runs every weekend all weekend long.......
