Your chance to own one of the nicest and most rare BMWs imported to the US in the last 20 years! 1 of only 500 imported to the US in 1996, the BMW M division designed the panoramic folding roof and debuted it in this special edition 318ti for this year only. The original M package includes colored side skirts, 5-spoke sport wheels, and much more. I have the original brochure that will accompany the car that explains this special edition model. Was originally an East Coast car and I bought it from the son of the original owner who had just moved to Chicago, so it hasn't seen any Chicago winters (I am only the 2nd titled owner). I had looked for stick version of this car for almost 10 years but now the second kid is on the way and the wife says the fun summer car is not the budget anymore. Stock options include: * Cloth folding roof that spans the whole car * 15" Sport Wheels * 5-speed Manual Transmission * Cruise Control * Premium Sound System * AST Traction Control Over the last year I have imported and installed many E36 M accessories from Europe. Those items include:* Custom M leather shifter * Euro M Steering Wheel (original BMW part) * M badging on doors and trunk lit (in place of 318ti logo) * Euro clear/smoke cornering lights all around * Chrome Performance Exhaust Also just recently added:* Original OEM Katzkin brand leather seating package (original interior was cloth)* Brand new set of Fuzion (Bridgestone) high-performance all-season tires Body, wheels, and interior all in perfect condition; no scratches or dents. Runs perfect and has been inspected by local BMW dealer. Also recent tune-up and belts are newer. Brakes are in very good shape. Only issues are: Airbag light is on but BMW confirmed that both Airbags (Driver & Passenger-Side) are functional but passenger seat sensor is reading error, which means that it deploys without compensating for the weight of the passenger. It is too expensive to change since the cost of the sensor is high and the whole seat and assembly has to be dismantled. Also the check engine light has come on twice in the last year because of the performance aftermarket exhaust system (also diagnosed confirmed by BMW dealer).
