Up for auction is my 2007 Suzuki S40. I purchased it used 1-2 months ago to see if I could learn to ride a motorcycle. Since I have recently passed my motorcycle class and have purchased a 2009 Harley Nightster, I would like to sell this great commuter bike to make some room in my garage (which has two Harleys, three Honda ATVs, and two automobiles vying for space). As soon as I puchased the Suzuki, I took it to my local dealer and had a carburetor service and a seasonal tune up and told the dealer to just generally check it over and service anything that needed servicing. I would say that mechanically the Suzuki is a 10/10. Cosmetically I would say it is a 9.5/10 with the only flaw being some small amount of "chafing" on the left and right sides of the rear fender just below the seat. The chafing is pictured and is barely noticeable, especially because it is right at or under the seat, but I wanted to mention it since I am meticulous with everything I own. The seat is perfect with no rips or holes. The tires are in great condition, as you would expect from the low mileage. Everything works on this bike just as it should. I have driven it up to 70 mph and it rides very SMOOTHLY and has a surprising amount of power! The brakes are excellent, too! I am offering this bike for about 40% less than my total investment considering the time of the year that it is. If it doesn't sell now, I'll just store it at a friend's house until March and then offer it for several hundred dollars more. So, my loss can be your gain! The Suzuki is also being offered locally so there is a possibility the auction could end early. Also, on pretty days I still plan to ride it on a rotational basis with my Harley, so the miles could be a little more than they are presently. Please feel free to email me with ANY questions.
