Vehicle Detail
For sale, 1970, Porsche, 914-6, Vin # 9140430089, this is a true six cylinder. I believe this would be the 89th one made. The car is 100 % apart. . I purchased the car 17 years ago in Sierra Madre California. The car was media blasted to metal and all the bodywork was done and primed. No signs of crash history was found. It has fiberglass flares on it. All new floor pans, tons of new and extra parts. Very nice Porsche alloy rims, rears are 245/45ZR16 and fronts are 245/50ZR15 (could use new tires). The transmission is original but not the engine, it was too far-gone to rebuild. I purchased a 76, 911s, 2.7 case for it. The engine is all a part. The crank has been done and case was line bored and case saver’s installed. All new engine bearings. Bought all new pistons and cylinders the heads and valves have all been done. Cam’s will need to be redone. I have both 914-6 heat exchangers in great condition bead blasted and ready to be coated. I hold the California pink. As you can see the car is all primer and there is NO rust. This was a California car and I purchased it from the original owner. This was a complete car when I tore it down. The floor pans were rusted so I had them replaced. Coach Craft in Monrovia, California did all the bodywork. I personally have rebuilt a few things also. Mo Ma’s in Az. has rebuilt all the Gauges. I purchased new parts over the years and they are in plastic bens along with all the parts for the car. I also purchased extra 914 parts just incase and I’m a Porsche nut and I couldn’t pass them up. Original color is silver it was red when I got it. Wiring harness is good and all there. Carburetors are there and need rebuilding. Transmission is together and is in good condition. I have all glass, nuts bolts, engine gasket kit etc. Every thing is in plastic bens. The best I can describe it is, a complete car, just all apart. This was going to be my retirement restoration but its not working out that way. I honestly don’t want to sell it but I have to. Car is in North Idaho, by Couer D’ Alene. If interested call or E-mail through e-bay, 909-732-0335. I’m a Porsche nut and this is one of 5 Porsche’s in my collection. This car has been garaged for 17 years. More pic’s upon request. I’ AM NOT INTERESTED IN PARTING IT OUT SO PLEASE DON’T ASK…. Thanks for looking, hope to here from you….. Only about 3,360 examples produced between 1970 and 1972. All base sixes came with a 2.0 L flat six motor, similar to that found in the 1969 911T. So this is number 89 out of 3,360.
