PLEASE READ THE ENTIRE DESCRIPTION - CAR DOES NOT RUN RIGHT NOW - YOU WILL NEED TO HAVE IT TRAILERED AWAY. I have had a few people ask if it runs. Payment by PAY PAL or CASH ONLY - NO CHECKS of any kind. No bidders with under 5 feedback. If you don't agree with my terms please do not bid. Thanks. Nice looking classic. The body is in great condition with some dings, but not rust. I think it looks more reddish, but the wife says it is orangish, lol. When I bought it, the owner said it needed a new transmission because the 3rd gear slipped in it (has a 700r4), so I purchased a used transmission (It has about 8,000 miles on a rebuild, so I was told) and had it installed. While the trans was being installed, the guy noticed the oil pan was leaking, so when he drained the oil he noticed some gas in the oil and replace the fuel pump and engine bearings. The transmission had a new filter put in also. The starter and battery are also new. I purchased and put in PMD seats (like on knight rider), I also repainted all the interior plastic tan. It has new calipers and pads on the front and all the brakes have been bleed. It has aftermarket gauges installed and the fuel guage does not work (dont know why they unhooked that). The main issue with the car is that when it sits for a few days it would be dead, so I would have to hook a batter charger up to it (thought the new battery would help, but it didn't). I believe the regulator in the alternator is bad because I haven't had the alternator hooked up for about a week and the battery has not drained (I am not positive though). But, now it wont do anything at all (I am sure it is the ignition switch), when you turn the key it does nothing, not even a sound, not sure if there was a short in the ignition switch causing the battery to drain. The engine sounds great (305) when it does start, lol. I had the car up on a ramp on the passenger side so I could try to figure out what was causing it not to start and I must have loosened something up because there is trans fluid leaking out the front, don't know how or why but there is. There were no leaks whatsoever (trans fluid or oil) until this. So, I have exhausted all my funds I had available so I have to sell my Trans Am. If you are mechanically inclined (which I am not), I am sure you can have this up and running in no time. I am located in Davenport, IA. SOLD AS IS WHERE IS OF COURSE. NO REFUNDS. Ask all questions before bidding. $500 non-refundable deposit due immediately by pay-pal, remainder to be paid within 7 days by cash or pay pal. Pick up only in Davenport, IA 52802. WILL NOT SHIP
