Vehicle Detail

1989 Trans AM GTA NO RESERVE!! I hate to sell my baby, but my children’s tuition is due and I have no choice. This car will sell regardless of price! What we have here is a 1989 Trans AM GTA with the desirable and highly sought after 5.7 liter v-8!! I bought this car in 2008 from a guy who had it locked up in his garage since acquiring it from his uncle (original owner in California) in 1992 ! I had it shipped in an enclosed trailer to my climate controlled shop in North Carolina. It is the beautiful maroon or burgundy car with only 11,202 original miles! Yes, that’s right 11,202 original pampered miles. The car has always been stored indoors and has lived in temperate climates its whole life, NO SNOW!! This car has all the options power steering, power brakes, power locks, cruise control, power hatch, powers assist close, rear defroster, power antennae, power mirrors, power seats (both driver and passenger) radio controls in the steering wheel, power flip up headlights, fog lights etc. ALL options and the car is 100% functional, including the always broken flip up lights! No stories, no excuses. The car is very rare with the corvette inspired 5.7 liter option. It is an 80’s icon. I really hate to sell this rare low mileage car. Now in the spirit of full disclosure, here bad things. The car had a bra on it in the late 80’s. If you look really closely you can see a couple of wear marks in the clear coat. I tried to take a picture, but they don’t show up. I am very anal when it comes to collector cars and when buying, I feel better when the seller honestly says every little minute detail and imperfections. I am sure you will too. The rear hatch factory shocks are dead. They sell them aftermarket, but I never got around to fixing it. It was an age thing. There are two small impressions quarter size on the driver side rear below fuel door and door. They are NOT DINGS. They are much smaller and not noticeable unless looking for them at an angle. They are extremely small and almost impossible to find. I had previous typed up this ad saying the body was PERFECT, but when I was taking pictures after the car was detailed I noticed the extremely small imperfections in the reflections of the light. I would say you would not see it unless I told you. I say the car looks perfect. As with ALL GTA the factory spoiler was know to crack. it happens on all GTA's. This is just beginning to start athe the base mount, but it is on 1/4 of an inch on the under side. you can't see it and it is PROOF of the low miles, because it is so small instead of really big with most GTA's. Other than what I mentioned, the car is PERFECT. Here is what I have done to the car since owning it. I replaced the fuel injectors, to factory specs, the car sat awhile (previous owner) without fuel stabilizer and it clogged a couple of the injectors so I replaced all of them. I also replaced the battery. I also had the fuel pump/sock replaced as a precaution. The tank was spotless! The car runs like a champ. This car will eat up any 80’s IROC for lunch! The rims are free of road rash and they are clean and bright. The interior is perfect. No wear marks on driver seat. Driver seat side is always the indicator of wear on these GTA's. This seat is perfect with no flaws as well as the rest of the interior. The car still has its original GM floor mats. I just can’t say enough that this car is one awesome GTA. This is not some lame car dolled up and being passed off as “collector car”. I have owned many GTA’s and collector cars. This is a Barrett Jackson quality collector car. That should say enough. I will welcome any eBay third party inspector if you wish to hire one. You will be very happy with this car. I have seen the price of these cars go up about 30% in the last 2-3 years. I expect to start seeing these on the auction circuit in the next year or so. Get this great car at a great price before the price really pops. Now, I will give the buyer all of my papers from where and how I purchased the car. Yes, I paid 15K for the car two years ago, yes, it was that nice. I have all recepits from repairs and oil changes etc. Clear title. I also have the original owner's box of original AC Delco parts ( filters, center caps and other misc parts he bought but never used) and even the original BRA!! I hated those damn things, but ahhh that was the 80's!! Please email me with any questions you have and I will gladly reply. Now for the legal stuff....ONLY SERIOUS bidders. If you have bad feedback, don't bid, I will cancel your bid. An immediate non-refundable deposit of $1,000 is due at the end of the auction , NO EXCEPTION. The balance due within 3 days, NO EXCEPTION. It may be easier to just pay all at once immediately, but I will leave that up to the buyer. Those who do not comply will be reported to ebay. This is not a game. I have sold a lot of my car collection already. Almost every buyer paid LATE and it is starting to torque me off. SO IF YOU CAN'T FOLLOW INSTRUCTIONS OF MY AUCTION, DON'T BID!! The last buyer actually was a weenie and his wife told him he couldn't have it. So if you don't have your woman in check or your manhood intact, DON'T BID. Now, I am willing to store the car for up to a two weeks, then a $2.00 a day storage fee applies. I am nice guy with PERFECT FEEDBACK, and I like dealing with responsible ebayers! :) Good Luck and happy bidding!! Lastly I want to mention that I have been an eBay member for nearly a decade. That is a long time. I just about completed the selling of my life long collection of cars. Some were trailer queens, others were parts cars, and other rolling rust buckets, but really rare. Now I went to great trouble to max out my quota of pictures on each listing and describe the car thoroughly. Still I manage to get a couple of knuckleheads who for some reason (twice it was a language barrier) just to understand what a bill of sale is on a parts car or that for 6K they thing they are getting a 50K restored trailer queen. It is frustrating for me because I had a perfect feedback. The new eBay rules make it hard to fight unfair feedback. So if I get a retarded buyer, he can pretty much do what he wants and there is little I can do about it. SO please keep that in mind when review my feedback. I hate it, but unfortunately, there’s nothing I can do about it. So look carefully at my pictures. I bought the zoom option so you can look real good at how nice the car is. Bid with confidence that she is a really solid car that was described in great detail. Some guy will get a great deal on a super solid car. I just wish I didn’t have to sell it….:(
