Hello folks, listing the truck again, if you have never driven one of these trucks they are really great, with the engine in the back and cab closed off, these trucks run really quiet for an air cooled engine. The bids came in close to my reserve, so don't miss this chance to have a great useful working classic truck. Truck is in perfect running condition. A work truck that looks great, previous owner fixed rust issues, and entire underbelly painted with rust proofing, (por-15). New wire harness, brake lines and hoses. The engine is a 40 hp, built by a master mechanic here in Tucson, AZ. Very few miles on the new motor, can't say for sure, because the odometer doesn't always work. I've never taken a long trip, just around town. I've had the truck for four years, and have never had any trouble, starts up every time. Converted to 12 Volt, the wiper motor converted to 12 as well. All lights and gauges work. Glass tail light lenses. VW seat belts. Vintage style biased tires. NOS hub caps. I put a sheet of plywood down on the bed for protection, bed is solid. Rims powder coated and dated 1959. No heater boxes, fresh air scoop in working order. There is a low reserve on this truck compared to what i have seen them selling for in this good condition, so good luck on your bids.
