This is a classic and original collector 1973 Mercedes Benz 450 SLC. This beautiful Mercedes shows much newer than its age. It was ordered in Silver Green (861) with the Olive leather interior (266). It was built with A/C which is still very cold even on hot days. 1973 was the first year the top of the line SLC came badged 450, the previous years the top model was the 350. In 1974, they added the large bumpers because of federal regulation, so the 1973 450 SLC is quite unique and desirable. This 450 SLC was a one owner California car until 2007. They kept extensive service records and took meticulous care of this classic Mercedes over many years. Included is the original metal ID plate, original owners manuals and case, a big book of records, both keys, a copy of the original build card, original Blue plate, and the clean/clear California pink slip title. Selling with No Reserve... Nearly $12,000 has been spent within the last couple years and 10k miles to keep this beauty in excellent condition mechanically, electronically, and cosmetically. The numbers matching 4.5 V8 is powerful and tuned equipped with the factory Bosch D Jetronic fuel injection system. The original transmission shifts tight and properly, and it is smooth at all speeds including 90mph on the highway (top speed rated at 134). All of the lights/gauges/indicators work. Power windows work as does the sunroof. This SLC starts up smooth and runs great. It has great brakes, newer tires, and tight smooth suspension/steering. It is nearly 40 years old and not perfect, but it is in amazing condition and not just considering the age. It shows very well right up close, the body and paint is exceptional overall as I tried to show, no fading or rust holes anywhere. The interior shows it was a 1 owner, from the headliner to the mint original carpets, very little wear inside. The underside and trunk also look nearly perfect. This Mercedes just took a 40 mile trip the other day and it is ready to drive away safely.
