This is a 2002 Ford Crown Victoria Police Cruiser being retired by the City of Milford Police Department. The vehicle was purchased new by the City in 2001. It was marked and used for Patrol purposes for 2-3 years and then unmarked and given to a Staff member or assigned to a non-uniformed division. Vehicle has 118,475 miles. It is being retired due to age. The vehicle starts, runs and drives good. It had been driven daily by the officer to whom it was assigned. There are dents, scratches, dings, and holes in the interior and exterior as would be expected with usage as a police vehicle. Overall the vehicle is in good condition. On the LF Fender there is a paint ridge where the fender was painted around the existing decal. It is noticeable when looking closely at the vehicle but does not stand out. City police vehicles are serviced every 300 hours when marked and after being re-assigned, they are serviced every 3000 miles. The City employs a certified mechanic whom services vehicle regularly. For major repairs, vehicle is sent to Ford Dealer. This vehicle is sold AS-IS with no warranty. Buyer must complete transaction and pay for item within 14 days of auction end. Acknowledgement of winning bid along with details of anticipated plans for payment and delivery must be received within 3 days of auction end. If buyer does not acknowledge winning vehicle, it will be re-listed. Vehicle is currently at 400 NE Front Street in Milford DE and will be made available for inspection upon request. This is also the address where the vehicle will be picked up. We do not ship, buyer responsible for ALL Shipping arrangements. The City of Milford cannot sell the vehicle privately, we cannot finance, and we cannot accept payment plans. Payment must be made by Certified Check, Personal Check, or Cash. The City of Milford reserves the right to hold the vehicle and/or title until payment can be verified or clears.
