This is a very well cared for 1974 pontiac GTO with a freshly rebuilt 455 with a muncie 4 speed and posi-rear. The car itself is in great shape as well as the engine, the frame is solid, only one small rust spot on door. The car was re-done a few years back and has new quarters welded. The entire undercarriage and trunk has been coated with por-15 rust preventative and one side of drivers side floor was patched as well a small spot in the trunk. These were done right with cut & welded metal. The interior is in decent shape, new carpet, good headliner, it has a black aftermarket dash cap because the original red dashboard has two cracks in it. Seat are coming apart at the seams in the front and the backseat has a hole. It has a 455 high output with a larger than stock cam, forged pistons, bored .40 over and is 10 to 1 compression with a holley 650 carb, new radiator and electric fan, tranny cooler, battery, starter, rebuilt front end suspension with polyurethane bushings. It has new shocks, starter and alternator, with true stainless steel dual exhaust and headers. It sounds mean and will eat everything on the road, it has a new clutch and muncie 4 speed manual transmission, posi rear with 3;23 gears. It has a $600 rebuilt to look like stock am-fm digital radio with aux jacks for cd player or ipod, and new speakers. It has white letter seventy series radials with lots of tread left on them and pontiac rally 2 rims which have been repainted like original. This car is a turn key and go car. I am not interested in trades. A $500 deposit via paypal is due within 48 hours of auction end, and car must be paid for within a week of winning auction via wire transfer, a cashier check (to be verified) or cash on pick up. On Nov-03-10 at 07:26:00 PDT, seller added the following information: I forgot to mention that the car has a stock appearing am-fm radio which has been upgraded for digital radio or cd player with new 6x9 pioneer speakers which sound great. I didnt want to modify the dash so it looks exactly like the stock radio with the knobs. The radio alone cost $600!
